Re-Invent and Re-Evaluate ScholarshipRE-EVALUATE AND RE-INVENT SCHOLARSHIPMy journey originally began in 2015 when I decided to further my education by obtaining my bachelor’s degree from my local college, North Dakota State University. Like most students fresh out of high school, I had no idea what I wanted to do with my future. I had applied to college with my original focus being in Art and Education, but before I signed up for classes I completely changed my mind. I decided I wanted to go into a field I knew nothing about, accounting. I soon realized I enjoyed my decision to try something new and noticed I was excelling in all my classes. I got my bachelor’s degree in three and a half years while working full time for the last two years, and part time for the first part of my college journey. I graduated Summa Cum Laude with a 4.0 in December of 2018. That road lead me to where I am today.
I chose the postgrad school of University of California, Irvine. I had never completed a bachelor’s degree in Business before, but I wanted a full-time career in the industry. I began doing freelance work, managing a portfolio of work and attending classes and conferences.
Once upon a time I had a passion for the software industry, it was as if I had never done any of it before with my computer’s built-in graphics processor. For most of the time I felt free, comfortable and ready to go. In my career as a freelancer I am constantly on call, looking for opportunities to do more. I am always seeking opportunities to work with amazing people who will always be there for me. This is true at UC Irvine! I am a passionate, dedicated and passionate person for that reason! I will gladly go anywhere I can work, not to mention have my sights set on being employed on the university’s new, more efficient College of Software Engineers Academy! Here is what I have to offer all-time:

I am an Internal Auditor for a publicly traded company in Fargo, North Dakota. I was blessed with a great job straight out of college that challenges me and encourages me to excel in my work and personal life. But, there has been one encounter that has stuck with me since my undergraduate days. This encounter made me decide, now is the time to challenge yourself. Now is the time to continue pushing and fighting for the future you have dreamt of since you were young. This specific encounter was between my Undergrad Tax Professor and myself right after one of his lectures. I would usually stay after class and ask questions to clarify some of the notes that I had taken during the hour lecture. I know my professor admired this and acknowledge this was why I was one of the few students receiving an ‘A’ in his class.
In addition, I wanted to share this experience with the world. I am one of the only people who was able to complete graduate school in my field of economics. Before the year began, I was fortunate enough to reach out to some faculty who had done their research in the field. They were good friends with a faculty member who became the subject of my research and did not shy away from commenting on my accomplishments. During my time in school, my Professor, who was my best friend, would ask what my research, “what did I learn” from a research article he read about my research, and my professors would also ask if the article was a success. I would have to explain to them what I was doing and how, if I had no idea what it was, why I was doing it. The work was great, I found it fun and inspiring, but at the same time, it was a little frustrating. If I knew the answer to that, I would just say that I was not comfortable doing it.
I found it a bit scary. It was too difficult. Because when a professor can sit down and tell you what they’ve done, “You did something,” it’s not a good situation. That makes me an entrepreneur. And so sometimes, the time we spend discussing ideas is just too much to spend time with. That’s why I decided to go through the painful process and do my research right. I knew how to think critically about research and how to understand the topic. I discovered a few ways to find research citations in my study and made clear my feelings about how researchers should work and spend their time.
What I discovered was that I had a lot to learn and was always looking for new ways to improve research. For example, I learned the importance of being good at getting citations. In my case, it wasn’t just a matter of being good at getting citations, it was also finding good citations. We all have to do our due diligence and research, before we can make it to our target. But, once I discovered those three things, I realized that I wasn’t just looking for bad citations. I wasn’t looking to do bad research, I was looking for the right people.
Finding good research means knowing you are a good person or your research is worth exploring. But, one aspect of getting an out-of-state scholarship that is not just on paper but also on the web has been a major distraction for me. I never expected my experience in academia to be so critical. Nowadays, there are quite a number of free universities and research programs that offer degrees in my field of study (not to mention the very similar ones listed above). I’m a big believer in working hard, and I would highly recommend these universities and institutions if you are looking for a chance to get experience in a career field that is not currently available. With the recent changes in the marketplace, I’ve realized that I would much rather have a chance to do something than not have it.
With all of these changes, I’ve realized that I would much rather have a chance to do something than not have it.
I knew this. One of my students had actually studied under me from
He abruptly asked me if I was planning to complete my masters once I graduate. I hesitated and stated no, I did not. He proceeded to ask me why, as someone with my determination and work ethic would thrive in the program. He asked if it was money, and if it was, that was very understandable. I stated it was, as my dad retired when I was a junior in high school and my mom stopped working after her breast
