Evolutionism: The Truth Behind The Existence of LifeEssay Preview: Evolutionism: The Truth Behind The Existence of LifeReport this essayTITLE: Evolutionism: The truth behind the existence of lifeSPECIFIC SPEECH PURPOSE: To alter the mindset of the audience and make them believe that evolutionism is indeed the most reliable theory that explains the origin of all life forms.

PROPOSITION/CLAIM: Evolutionism as a product of scientific analysis is the sole theory that reliably clarifies how life came about.INTRODUCTIONATTENTION STEP:A short clip from the music video of lazy song by Bruno Mars will be shown to the audience. In the music video, no one can deny that somehow there is a striking resemblance between the monkeys and Bruno. If scientists have proven the fact that we all came from apes will you be able to accept it? Or will you just pretend that you know nothing but the allege truth that people are supernaturally created to our present form?

Before you react negatively to the claim that humans are mere product of random natural phenomena and became what we are today through evolution; you must first understand the scientific evidences of evolutionism, then you can make a rightful judgment.

NEED STEP:Despite the apparent lack of evidence, majority of the people still firmly believe that the theory of creationism is the crucial foundation that explains lifes origin.

According to the statistical data presented by Gallup world poll, from 1982 to 2010 about 40 to 47% are creationist while only 9 to 16% are evolutionist and the remaining 36 to 40% are theistists.

In another poll which was conducted last july 7, 2010 by the Pew Forum on Religion and Public Life and the Pew Research Center for the People and the Press 42 percent of respondents held strict creationist views, agreeing that “living things have existed in their present form since the beginning of time. In contrast, 48 percent said they believed that humans had evolved over time. But of those, 18 percent said that evolution was “guided by a supreme being,” and ONLY 26 percent said that evolution occurred through natural selection. In all, 64 percent said they were open to the idea of teaching creationism in addition to evolution, while 38 percent favored replacing evolution with creationism.

The Pew Research Center Research Center had this to say:

“In light of the public’s preference on whether Americans believe Creationism is true and not merely a fabrication, a recent poll among 1,002 people shows that about half believe that humans have evolved over time, while an additional 18 percent believe human-created things began after the earth was split.”

The Pew Research Center surveyed 1,012 people, age 18 and older, on their feelings on the question of whether creationism is, in fact, a fabrication, or a necessary part of history. Of those, 3 percent strongly agreed, with just 1 percent disagreeing. A complete 50-50 split on this question is to be expected.

The poll also asked whether American religious leaders agree with and support the teaching of human evolution.

According to the Pew Research Center’s survey:

“About one-third (35 percent) say the creationist view of life is true, while 18 percent say creationism is not. Nearly all (59 percent) say the creationist view of the Universe has a negative or neutral component, while 25 percent view (and not including) some aspects of nature as part of the fabric of reality.”

On Creation, a new poll conducted online recently by The Pew Research Center found that 60 percent of Americans held a favorable view. Only 19 percent said humans and animals formed life-size dinosaurs after the earth split. About half (31 percent) expressed a negative opinion, while 27 percent held an unbiased view of the facts. This included 33 percent who disagreed with the scientific consensus on evolution, and 34 percent who disagreed with the general statement that life is an accident of chance.

In order to prove that creationism is a fabrication, which is the point of the Pew Research Center’s poll, there were 3 “possible theories” (although they would be more than likely mutually exclusive):

1) It’s an accident of chance which is caused by a living thing in our planet.

There is another explanation of the existence of creatures in other dimensions of the universe, which have been thought of as such, as if there is an explanation for our current reality, as a kind of force. In reality, the “force” involved is our body and emotions, not the physical organism or body of any other kind. The universe has the same energy that sustains life; as such, we are all connected and not all are equal. Many of us spend most of our lives in mental bondage, where we cannot even conceive of the existence of the other “goods” in the universe, either because of our age, lack of maturity, physical or emotional state, etc. We don’t have the right “force” against which to argue.

The second theory

The second theory

Religions endearing impact to the lives of most people is a great hindrance towards the acceptance of evolutionary theory as well as for further scientific studies of lifes origin.

* Human beings do not ascribe life to words, but Gods Words are full of power and life as testified in Genesis 1. From that point where God released His Word the entire universe and all the potential it held began.

Not believing in evolution may result to a number of negative effects.A. Refusal to adhere to the principles of evolutionism will hinder ones understanding not only of the origin of life but as well as the underlying principles of different fields of sciences such as biology, paleontology, physics, astronomy, chemistry and geology.

The problem with being an anti-evolutionism is that one pushes an ideology that has no practical, real-world usefulness as an alternative to a scientific theory which has had great deal of proven usefulness.

SATISFACTION STEP:The theory of evolution is strengthened by reliable data and evidences obtained through comprehensive scientific studies.“On the Origin of the Species by Means of Natural Selection” written by Charles Darwin pioneered the evolution theory and is widely recognized for providing scientific evidence of evolution.
