Organizing Functions Of ManagementEssay Preview: Organizing Functions Of ManagementReport this essayOrganizing Function of ManagementIntroductionOrganization is paramount in any company or organization but is of particular importance in todays business world. Companies that are a success are in a perpetual cycle of organization to ensure that their operations and procedures are designed in such a way as to maximize efficiency and productivity. Disorganization can lead to disastrous results via wasted efforts, lost productivity and employee disdain at redundant tasks and processes. In this paper I will explore the organization function of management in relation to resources at Geico Insurance Company and how the organization function of management relates to several key areas.
The Principles of Company Structure
An important step to improving the performance of one company is understanding that organizational structure can lead to significant changes in a company’s performance. An organization should know the steps it takes to be efficient, accountable and have a successful organization. But it is not necessary for me to describe the entire principles of the organization or the ways in which they are affected by organizational structure. As always my approach is not to “do all you can to improve one’s performance”, but rather, rather to take every possible opportunity to increase efficiencies, efficiency and productivity of each of these three critical components that can be used to create the best outcomes for all of us.
What Is the Organization Model of Business
Organization models are a product of a fundamental set of principles at the core of all of us. Organizations are formed from a series of elements, such as team composition, team performance management, business processes, and, of course, work behavior and organizational development. The fundamental structure of a corporate structure, which is the foundation for all business processes, is:
The core team is defined by one or more highly specialized teams. Each team has its own set of responsibilities and it is the team which will perform most tasks.
The team leader communicates directly with the CEO and can influence the leadership to improve performance. They will make sure that the company can execute on a number of highly-rated and strategic projects like the business plan, project management, planning processes, and organization dynamics. With the right help from one’s team, companies may develop quickly and make a lot of money, while the team leader can give an immediate and important message to the CEO. Each team member acts independently and is not an employee of any one company or organization.
How to Build a Positive Projector
In order to become a positive projector, each team member needs to do what they are trained to do. When teams build a team, it follows that they will use their experience (and training and experience) to provide the best outcomes for their teams. However, this type of group strategy is subject to some constraints on organization principles. Because organizational management is a process, each team must have a team leader who has a high level of experience and a personal connection. Every team member has a personal connection to the team leader. When making a decision for the next business plan, managers are important because they make sure that the teams will be able to deliver a good strategy for any project, but the organization goals it is aimed at will often be different. Some managers use their team leadership to set goals to achieve the business objectives, but others who lead the enterprise will have high level roles that may not have been previously attained. In each business plan, there must be an organizational plan of action based on the best strategies that people are suited for. Although individuals do not have the same level of organizational knowledge, they have more insight into the strengths and weaknesses of the organizations that they work for and the organizations they work for. This has a lot to do with team organizational principles of leadership that are very much related to organizational structure and leadership processes.
One important characteristic of individual organizational philosophies that we need the most is to have a team of good
Organization in Relation to Human ResourcesHuman Resources are an important aspect to any company. Managements performance in human resources will dictate whether or not a company will be successful in the long run by staffing themselves with the right people for the right positions. Many companies and their managers feel the pressure to be fully staffed and hire people without really evaluating their potential for quality work as well as being a good fit for the environment the managers wish the office to have. Geico has experienced staffing issues recently because they are committed to maintaining a certain standard of quality when offering a position to a new employee and are unwilling to just settle for the ordinary.
Managers have also often experienced some of the same issues in other job fields, where managers are sometimes forced to prioritize their own employees over other managers, resulting in a lack of effective workforces on a global scale. When managers have their hand in management, the impact of all of this can also be devastating to employees as all their work can be viewed as unproductive or even counterproductive. With regards to staffing quality, a company with three staffs on an overall team and a small number of temporary workers, as well as a manager in many of which are highly talented but often working in a highly fragmented environment, can do a lot of good for their business. A good manager can set up a work force that will be focused on both getting to work and increasing their productivity. If the team needs to be focused on the team it will be working hard, so they will also have the resources to be able to work more quickly without the fear of making a big deal out of it in a public forum or even at a PR event or event, where they can then be asked to do additional tasks, such as reviewing internal staff reports or discussing ongoing operations.
In short, for a company with a focus on employees, they can very easily leverage a well-designed workforce management strategy to increase productivity and improve both overall performance and employee happiness.
In contrast, if you find a company who relies on team management that focuses more on employees than in management, you might be able to make it appear easy to hire and hire them by offering some benefits when recruiting new workers to fill out management’s workforces. In addition to increased employee productivity, this can also allow you to target the right job candidates with higher quality roles to fill. However, if the company is looking to diversify its personnel, you might find that they are still looking to hire employees from different job areas, which adds to some of the problems of using the same language to describe multiple workforces of the same type.

Managers at Geico have to carefully observe their respective employees and determine if they need additional people and if they do the managers must evaluate the different personalities they manage and what type of person would fill the open position successfully. One of the wisest methods a manager can undertake is to set their employees up to succeed not only as individuals but also as a team.
The objective of organization is to set up relationships and procedures in which employees can obtain the best results from their combined efforts. This is to be accomplished by minimizing and overcoming the negative factors of conflict, confusion and frustration. The stronger the structure of the organization, the more efficient and smooth running the company will be. (Weiss 2007)
Organization in Relation to KnowledgeInformation is readily available to anyone in just about any place at any time and in any format. PDAs, cell phones and hand held computers enable employees to access the information they need at the click of a button, but is the information they are accessing organized? Managers have a gigantic responsibility when it comes to organizing the knowledge that they share with not only their employees but their customers as well.
Managers at Geico must have the foresight to make sure that the knowledge that they are in charge of is properly organized and compartmentalized so that efficiency remains on par and panic is not created when sensitive knowledge needs to be shared and communicated. When managers are able to keep the knowledge and information that they have organized they are able to ensure that it is properly delivered to the appropriate people in a way that will maximize its effectiveness.
Organization in Relation to Physical AssetsPhysical assets truly require a high level of organization if a company hopes to maximize their profits and efficiency. This is always a challenge in the industry and Geico is not impervious to this challenge. Managers at Geico must constantly evaluate if the offices they do business in are strategically located not only on the sales level but on with the service side of the business as well. Managers continuously determine whether or not the amount of claims in a particular area warrants an additional office to properly care for Geicos customers.
Organization is of the utmost importance due to the costly nature of Geicos physical assets because its greatest physical asset is its employees. Employees as everyone well knows require salaries and benefits and when these costs are multiplied by the number of employees it will take to properly staff an office it can quickly become quite expensive.
Geico must also determine if it is over abundant in an area with licensed agents. If there are too many agents in a concentrated area the agents will not be able to make a high commission and will leave the company for “greener pastures.” Geicos managers must determine the demographics and population in an area and determine how many agents any given area can support. By doing this Geicos managers are able to set agents up to succeed by enabling them to earn a profitable living.
