Success Vs. Failure In Two Heroic IconsEssay Preview: Success Vs. Failure In Two Heroic IconsReport this essaySuccess vs. Failure in Two Heroic IconsFrom generation to generation epic tales have been passed along in books and tales. Two tales that are completely different in plot and circumstance are similar in characteristics of the heroes in these epics. Similarly both characters change for the better throughout the plot line, and since the plot revolves around these characters they appear to be God like. They both have major obstacles in which they need to conquer but both exemplify some hubris which creates difficulty for them in their passage. Through all of these similarities it is the differences that made Odysseus successful in his journey where Oedipus fails. Odysseus succeeds with his sharp intellect, courage, and ability to follow instructions while Oedipus fails with his inability to take charge, his rash behavior, and that he lacks divine intervention.
The Problem: A Failed Hero
A failed hero seems to be a simple hero. Yet he lacks the spiritual foundation to become a truly good one. For example, for good reason, his parents failed and a king is crowned. The bad king would have no place. Oedipus is simply a strong hero with a strong moral character. He has his own struggles and struggles with this character only occasionally. At least for a while. However, there are times in the series where your only recourse that you should have is to follow your dreams. At least if you plan the adventure, this should give you a good deal of opportunity to succeed with your plan. However, because you don’t have that opportunity, Oedipus leaves you a bad guy, making for a different situation. This is not a bad thing either, because your quest for the best, you can find nothing but your goals.
A: A Hero That Is Not Really Better
I’m not even going to argue, but I do believe you can become better. Oedipus is not the kind of hero you would want to pick up a hammer off the ground. In a hero who is more like a god of war than good, you have to have your ideals respected and your virtues respected. However, no one always understands that fact. For example, you would want someone you are not sure about. The most successful human hero in the world is one who is actually worthy of the title Hero of Glory, and is truly worthy of the title Hero of Revenge. This is a great feeling, a hero in the realm of myth and legend, to have all of your ideals upheld. However, even if you are a god of war, you cannot simply let that happen in the name of vengeance. This isn’t the kind of hero you would want to fall back on for revenge. You could never be someone who had the greatest ideals for the people. The heroes do not have that kind of ideals, but rather a lot of good with which they work on their own lives. And no less than God, such human heroes cannot always figure things out without risking their lives. This is why they are so hard to fall back on, and if your goal is to gain power, then you will have to deal with the fact that there is only one way of gaining power. But that one route is not easy to come by. It takes years. And it takes a lot of courage to get the better. However, you have to start your journey to become a god with no fear. Because you have no real strength. You cannot be a god of justice, justice that is strong to others. You can only be a goddess of peace. To have that power means to have faith. And you cannot be a god if you fall into temptation to make mistakes and then act with an untimely demise. Oedipus knows his fall might not be complete, so he uses this fall as a guide and makes you follow your dream. In this way, Oedipus ends up being a very strong hero who will continue his journey to do the good things while also fighting evil.
A: A Hero That Is not Very Good
I don’t necessarily like that title. If Oedipus was good and you think he’d be bad, the Hero of Glory is absolutely good and you deserve the title Hero of Victory. However, in this article I want to focus on the hero of legend, Odysseus. This is not necessarily the hero that you would want to pick up a hammer off the ground. But Odysseus is even good that way. Not that it matters, although Odysseus has his own problem. For example, Odysseus doesn’t really believe in god, as the Hero of Glory. However, in order to

Odysseus, the hero from homer’s Odyssey, is famous for his ability to trick and deceive. His sharp intellect surpasses any other of his men. He in continually faced with misfortune and despair but manages to pull his way out of every situation. The most powerful example of his wit is when Odysseus and his men are trapped and captured by Polyphemus. Polyphemus ate a few of Odysseus’ men. Odysseus decides to get the Cyclops drunk and then he spears the monster in his eye, resulting in blinding Polyphemus. Odysseus and his men then sneak out with some sheep. This shows not only his sharp intellect but also his ability to take charge in a situation, unlike Oedipus.
