Global Warming
During Industrialization, machinery produced pollution causing effects on the earths atmosphere and climate. Global Warming is one of the worldwide issues that concern many scientists and citizens because its result in the future can be hazardous. However, all of us can help prevent the increasing of pollution by Recycling and doing other helpful procedures. The only reason why the effects of industrial pollution didnt bother the government was because by using machines that released polluted chemicals helped manufacture items quicker and make bigger income. Though, the consequences will soon become extravagant and income by then will be worth nothing.
The Greenhouse effect, also known as Global Warming, describes problems caused by industrial pollution; such as Carbon Dioxide. The effects, however, turned out to be human-made chemicals that are destroying the ozone layer; which protects us from the suns harmful rays. Scientist believe that the gases released, form a kind of ceiling that traps heat close to the earths surface. Climate is also slowly warming up and will soon turn cities into deserted areas, melt the icecaps and cause the ocean to rise. Barack Obama once said in his speech, “All across the world, in every kind of environment and region known to man, increasingly dangerous weather patterns and devastating storms are abruptly putting an end to the long-running debate over whether or not climate change is real. Not only is it real, its here, and its effects are giving rise to a frighteningly new global phenomenon: the man-made natural disaster.” [April 3rd, 2006] This “man-made natural disaster” was developed by us; which took place 5 years ago! Imagine how the earths position is standing now? If we found a way to create such world phenomenon, then we can also bring it to an end.
So far, many countries have tried to attain strict limits on the release of pollution. For example, Shanghai has apparently forbidden leaded gasoline and diesel fuel because it causes heavy pollution to the air. The air breathed in may also contain particles of these deadly contaminated chemical gasses that affect our lungs and health. Fortunately, there are ways to improve the excess use of fossil fuels and the use of machines. Recycling organic waste is one way to help because it eliminates Greenhouse emissions done by decomposing bio-degradable waste. By Recycling used materials also helps keep these usable items out of the trash longer and results as less pollution. Recycling and walking to close areas helps reduce Greenhouse gasses.
“Solid wastes” are the discarded leftovers of our advanced consumer society. This growing mountain of garbage and trash represents not only an attitude of indifference toward valuable natural resources, but also a serious economic and public health problem.
