Goals in Life
Selfishness is a large motivator when it comes to personal goals. Instead of wondering what an individual can get out of a situation, they should be wondering how they can help others. Everyone seems to ask themselves what do they want in their life? What are we really striving for? But we should ask ourselves too, what can we do to help others? Helping others also brings compassion for us to do and to achieve something.
As for myself, I want to become a lawyer to make an impact on each individual’s life. Since I was a kid, I really want to become a lawyer, to help those who needed my service and to help those people to protect their rights and to achieve justice in our society. This career choice follows me until now, so I was really striving hard and will pursue it no matter what. Others are saying that Accountancy is really hard even my mother is telling me that too. But this is what I want, so I follow my dream. I’m taking up Accountancy as a pre-law course because I’m really planning to take up Law after I graduated in this course. I believe in myself that I can do it even though others are always telling me how hard accountancy is. This never hinders me to take it, as a matter of fact I take it as a challenge to prove to myself as well as to others that I can make it.
I have set certain goals I would like to achieve in my lifetime. Some of these goals are personal while others are professional. My professional goals in life are to find a good job that makes me happy, get a good education, find a job that makes enough money for me to support my family, and help people. I am an aspiring Certified Public Accountant and a Lawyer. I wanted to help and serve others to the best of my ability. Success isn’t about yourself only, you should know how to reach out to others and help them. Help those people who helped you and thank them for everything they have done. Because they will always be a part of what you achieved and what you will achieve.
