People Are Born Neither Good Nor Bad
I think people are neither naturally good nor bad. It seems to me that people are raised in a society to think that there is a good and bad, a moral absolutism, and thus being brought up to believe that there is a right and wrong or good and bad. There are no set values to define right and wrong or good and bad. What one man believes to define a good person will always be different from what another man believes to define a good person.
Right and wrong does not exist, is merely subjective and it is ultimately dependent on an individuals view. The individuals view is shaped from birth depending on their environment and obvious natural factors, but in the full spectrum, right and wrong is based primarily off of ones beliefs or possibly lack thereof. Ultimately if someone says Im right or wrong, it doesnt matter, either way theyre proving my statement by saying how they are correct and I am incorrect; the only right, is that there is no right.
People are born neither good nor bad. An infant brought into society at birth is inherently selfish and innocent with no reasoning of being right or wrong, or good or bad. They only know what they are taught by their parents and significant others close to them. The circumstance and individuals environment that a person is raised in will shape and mold their personal beliefs of good and bad.
What one person believes to define them as being a good person is often not what someone else believes to define them as being good, therefore that other person may define them as bad. Show me a good person and I will show you their bad sides. Show me a bad person and I will show you their good sides.
