Today is the day your about to start your new life,
Not only gaining a new husband but also being a new wife
Just this past June, you strongly encouraged me to remember
The good times and to lighten up with all my tears
Making me realize it was time for us to continue our lives for
all the upcoming years
Being the strong mother that you are, you showed me today
That it is possible to continue our lives and move on,
But unfortunately, I am still trying to manage on being strong
I know that my first response was very silent and quiet when
You shocked me with your upcoming news,
But all I could think about at that time was “My Mother” who
I was about to loose
Thinking to myself and realizing how happy you two make each other,
That is the most important thing, especially because your my mother
I want to thank you for making me a part of this special day for you two,
I LOVE YOU, MOM and if anyone deserves the best in life
