Nell MacDermott is married to Adam Cauliff. Shes a tall, slim, athletic, short chestnut-colored hair, midnight-blue eyes, and a generous mouth. “Attractive” was the word used by media when describing her. “For Gods sake dont be so silly. Be grateful, youve got a head on our shoulders and know how to use it.” (her grandfathers comment) Nell also had a great sense of honor and possessed psychic gifts, which her grandfather dismisses as “flights of fantasy”.

In front of their eyes, the Cornelia II suddenly exploded, becoming an immense fireball, sending bits of debris shooting high into the air before falling all over the waterway that left from the Atlantic Ocean to the Harbor.
Bens father spun him around and before shock dulled the vision of bodies being blown to bits, Ben registered an impression that settled immediately in his subconscious, where it would stay, to become the reason for endless nightmares.
