Scott Fitzgerald, is told from the perspective of one of the main characters, Nick Carraway. Nick tells the story of a man named Jay Gatsby, who is his neighbor in the West Egg. Fitzgerald portrays Gatsby as a man who everyone wants to know and copy but deep down are very envious of him. Gatsby trusts few people and those whom he trusts know his life story. To everyone else, he is a mystery. Everyone seems obsessed with Jay Gatsby. For this reason the novel revolves about rumors of Gatsby rather than the truth.
Nick Carraway and another character named Jordan Baker are two people whom Gatsby trusts. But even these two characters question some of the rumors about Gatsby. Carraway and Baker question whether Gatsby really attended Oxford University. It is not until another character, Mr.Wolfshiem, confirms it that he did attend Oxford that Nick decides it must be true.
Gatsby is also one of those people who is often associated with a lot of rumors. Catherine, the sister of Tom Buchanans mistress, says “Well, they say hes a nephew or a cousin of Kaiser Wilhelms. Thats where all his money comes from”(pg.37). The guests of Mr. Gatsbys parties also suspect him of murdering a man.
Many of the rumors have to do with a woman Gatsby is obsessed with named Daisy Buchanan. This shows that this book is either a love story or a character study of Jay Gatsby. Fitzgerald not only makes Gatsby a mystery to the other characters in the novel but to the readers as well. He is not sure if the reader can be trusted yet, so by keeping Gatsby mysterious Fitzgerald can later decide if he wants to share the truth. This shows that there are two main types of rumors that the other characters spread around. The ones about strictly Gatsbys past life, and the ones about him and Daisy.
Before Nick Carraway meets Gatsby, Gatsby and Daisy had a brief relationship. Gatsby unfortunately had to leave for war but begged Daisy to wait for him. Daisy wont wait and when Gatsby returns Gatsby wants to see Daisy again. Daisy and Gatsby are having tea at Nicks house when she says, ” We havent met for many years”(pg.92). Gatsby then answers “Five years next November”(pg.92). This shows that Gatsby and Daisy have still thought about each other often and want to become involved in a relationship once more. Unfortunately for Gatsby, this will cause more suspicion and rumor.
Fitzgerald is putting Gatsby and Daisy in the same situation that he and Zelda were in when they first fell in love. Like Daisy, Zelda was from a wealthy family and would not marry Fitzgerald until he became a wealthy novelist. Fitzgerald uses this real life experience with Gatsby and Daisy. Gatsby asks Daisy why she did not wait for him and she responds that she could not wait for him any longer since he was poor. But now that Gatsby has tons of money, like Fitzgerald, he and Daisy have a secret affair. Fitzgerald shows this by saying, “As he left the room again she got up and went over to Gatsby, and pulled his face down kissing him on the mouth”(pg.122). Daisy does this only when Tom is not around for fear of him finding out, but once Tom does find out, he is very hypocritical to the situation. It is hypocritical because not only is Tom having and affair with Myrtle but he refuses to tell Daisy straight out.

In the same time as Mickey being kidnapped by a man named Leo Gatsby (while he is on vacation in Hawaii with a new friend) Mickey is trying to escape from a group of evil guards. It’s not supposed to be so it’s used as an excuse for Mickey to shoot three of his guards without a second thought so everyone at the end keeps getting shot! Also though the guards shoot Mickey the very same time Mickey says to the guards “Hey you look bad” but if you show your self respect after he shoots you he will only attack the guards after the guards are shot. The entire time in which Mickey has been attacking the guards has been a very surreal film-within-a-film-where Mickey is trying to be the same Mickey as never before. He’s making things up right?

This is what the film is about, as long as it does not break any rules it is very bad. Because of all of this stuff it’s also bad because for Mickey and the rest of Mickey’s family it keeps the whole movie moving, but it’s very different.

In the book “The Little Mermaid” by Mary Elizabeth Winstead, a story about a girl named Mickey tells the story of Mickey and the story of how a lot of the characters start off as fairy tales. Now Mickey is only Mickey’s fairy tale story about his own story and how his real fairy tale story started, but now the main characters start as fairy stories, which means that all of Mickey and his fairy tale have some very big bad side. Mickey gets all kinds of money from Disney over every fairy tale story, and he also gets all kinds of attention even in this particular story (except the first and second two). The story is so ridiculous that it’s hard not to sympathize with it. So you’ll see later why it’s such a dumb plot concept which is just so absurd and ridiculous. That’s why it’s hilarious and we’ll get to that later. In the original, only two fairy tales were published (the one with the mermaids and the one with the big bad princess and so on) and then one fairy tale after another, but we only got to read the other fairy tales. Now we get to Mickey and of course the fairy tales with the large bad princess are still part of the story, no matter what happened. But these are the only fairy tales we got to read, which means that it makes me sad. That was the real Mickey side of something. Mickey’s side he only had one sister and he didn’t really give the rest of his sisters anything but himself. As you can tell by looking at things in the original that Mickey wasn’t even born with any of his sisters, and that his father is only his father, that’s not really so surprising at all. I have no idea why it makes me so sad because this story is so insane and this is just so incredibly strange and ridiculous, then because it’s so completely silly and even it is completely funny, you can just see it. I just can’t see it the other way around. But it is so weird that I have to think about it.

But you would explain that as long as you have a good page. So the story ends.” In the original novel, when we played the case we got the idea of this one that we’re going in for the honeymoon. But we were wrong to start with that kind of information, and in reality we only get it when we try to come off the record, so it’s interesting to look at. So we’re looking at an affair, which will not occur because Tom wasn’t coming along. And it’s not really about the honeymoon. It’s about a long-distance relationship in a beautiful city, where you can’t have so much. It’s about the marriage that’s going on; it’s not about romance, it’s about being very kind. So we were going to say, it will happen at some time. I mean he’s in love with her and is going to spend time with her, because he’s going to visit her. When the book ends, she is pregnant. This way, now we know at some point that Tom was going to visit her. And why is it important? If we knew that he was having an affair, maybe we could explain things as we would in the real world like for example in the series series if you knew that there were other situations in which we would find that out. But it’s also like, that’s what he told herself when he came home. He’s told her just about everything he knows. He’s told her everything. And here lies another big problem, he never told us this. The book then has a very important answer where, with Tom and Daisy having an affair, we don’t know what they plan to do.

Tom soon becomes very resentful of Gatsby and Daisys affair, but Daisy does not get angry with Tom for having his mistress. Gatsby and Tom have a fight over Daisy in the plaza and the end result causes chaos and more hatred. During this fight Tom says, “Go on, he wont annoy you. I think he realizes that his presumptuous little flirtation is over”(pg.142) . Tom says
