Left in the Mountains
An important incident in the history of my family is when my grandma was born. My great grandma had given birth to her during World War 2, thinking that the village would be put in danger because of the babys cries my great grandma had to leave her in the mountains a while away so the planes wouldnt be lead to their village which hundreds of peoples lived in. Once the planes had gone back to Japan and World War 2 was now apart of history she thought by then her baby daughter would be dead. It had been days since she had lefts her there but my grandmas cousin had a strong feeling that she could still be alive. Following his instincts he went to go find her, hiking in the freezing cold desperately seeking her he came luckily came across the whimpering baby. Relieved, he took her back to home, fed her, wrapped her in a warm blanket, and returned her back to her mother. Slowly she got stronger and stronger and in the end, she lived. And she has been grateful ever since, unfortunately, her favourite cousin passed away last year. If her cousin had not gone looking for her my mum, my sister and me would have never been born.
