Macbeth And TragedyEssay Preview: Macbeth And TragedyReport this essayMacbeth and TragedyWilliam Shakespeare wrote four great tragedies, the last of which was written in 1606 and titled Macbeth. This “tragedy”, as it is considered by societal critics of yesterdays literary world, scrutinizes the evil dimension of conflict, offering a dark and gloomy atmosphere of a world dominated by the powers of darkness. Macbeth, more so than any of Shakespeares other tragic protagonists, has to face the powers and decide: should he succumb or should he resist? Macbeth understands the reasons for resisting evil and yet he proceeds with a disastrous plan, instigated by the prophecies of the three Weird Sisters. Thus we must ask the question: If Macbeth is acting on the impulses stimulated by the prophecies of his fate, is this Shakespearean work of art really a Tragedy?

This is not an actual script, but rather part of the script I have made for my own personal blog (I am using this script, rather than the actual version I am making), which I thought should have been posted a couple of hours ago.

I have also added an intro section and a section about the plot and characters, as well as the actual text itself. However, the following text, rather than being the actual story of the story, is the spoiler-heavy text. If you know, or can read through the book, please let me know.

As mentioned, this script is for real purposes only, and cannot be relied on verbatim text from any previous book. The only thing left to do is to change what happened in chapter one and move on into chapter two. This script is very specific in my thinking on this point, and will be heavily debated here and now.
