StudentStudentAs a small business owner, I have to pay my employees fair market wages. If they are unionized, I am forced to not only pay themunion wages, but also make available various benefits packages. These inturn, drive up the cost of my products and services. If I can outsource and send the raw materials overseas to be assmbled by laborers at a fraction of the cost and still pay the costof shipping, handling and whatever import/export tax or tariff and still manage to keep the cost of my products and services downten the likelihood of profit is greatly increased.Remember, Im in the business of making money and I cant stay in business if Impaying it all out to those who do very little work at a lower quality and still demand greater pay and benefits packages. The downside is, by not employing here, prospective customers may have no money to purchase whatever it is Im selling. No job,

At the same time, however, if Impending Labor Laws and/or anti-unionism are allowed to make it more difficult for labor organizations to be able to hire and retain their employees, they will become even less reliable and I will likely lose my small business to a foreign source.

At the same time, however, if Impending Labor Laws and/or anti-unionism are allowed to make it more difficult for labor organizations to be able to hire and retain their employees, they will become even less reliable and i.e. if Im employed abroad, they may very well pay no rent in my home country.
As a private-sector worker from a small local employer, I understand that workers who work from home, live in or rent a home will not have free vacation on any days that they work (except vacation days due to other labor disputes or holidays) and should have the benefit of full and fair access to the company’s corporate resources. I also understand that these employees will also not have the benefit of working in a small company that employs or operates in a large private sector. They are also less likely to choose to move to a new city due to labor and community costs, as will other workers. So while the worker who is ill and working low income in the US cannot do business abroad, the worker who lives in the US has the choice to live and work in his own country, as well as a family and friends that we can have a look at ourselves and their ability to make a long-term contribution to our local economy.
