MY GREATEST FEARS
As time goes, I get older and older and in every stage in life, fears chase me wherever
I go. Some are fleeting, some are permanent. Some are overwhelming and some are just results
of my sedentary life. In todays actual life, there are three elements that frighten me the most.
For example, I am afraid of some materialist people that do not value others feelings. In
addition, I am frighten when I observe that time do not pause. It scares me, with its accelerated
rhythm. Also, loneliness terrorizes me, when I encounter myself in isolated places or isolated from
the people that I expect to be part off.
It makes me afraid and miserable to think that in todays society some people
prioritized money and do not value other peoples feelings when it comes to make money. There
are occasions when I closely analyze my surrounding and make conclusions of what I had seen; I
had found that at the end of everything someones feelings, someones personality and moral
values do not matter when it comes to make money. For example, when someone attends to
church, during the entire religious service the pastor will talk about contributions that
parishioners need to make, rather than finding ways to support the Christian that is feeling tired,
confused, and lonely. Perhaps, he does not have to find ways to alleviate others uncertainty, but
at least he must have a word of hope and happiness for the disoriented ewe. The pastor on the
other hand, would focus in finding ways how these people would contribute more money to the
church.
Another horrifying fear that I have in life, is analyzing how time does not pause. It
was yesterday when I was sixteen; I opened my eyes today and I am
