The movie ”how the grinch stole christmas” was an influence to the book that was created by Dr. Seuss named “how the grinch stole christmas”. The movie was made in the november 8 2000, narrated by Anthony hopkins.It starred jim carrey as the old grinch and josh ryan evans as the younger grinch. The movie “how the grinch stole christmas” is a good adaptation to the book, it’s a good adaptation by how the grinch was similar by him being angry most of the time to the whos and this shows that character is the same, or Whoville was the same by being alive with joy and happiness shows the setting is still the same, and The grinch stole everything that was christmas related in the movie and the book is when the plot .

While he was complaining there was on a long shot to show the grinch and whoville. it also shows in the book when that the grinch stated “ Oh, the Noise! Noise! Noise! Noise! That’s one thing he hated! The NOISE! “This explains that the movie and the book it shows that he hates the whos because of the noise they kept on doing while they celebrated christmas.Therefore, character shows that the this is a good film adaptation of The Grinch.
Another reason why the movie was a good adaptation to the book is that Whoville was still being alive with joy and happiness this shows the setting is still the same and it wasn’t changed.This is expressed In the movie whoville had a lot of bright and happy colors like red and pink. Also In the book they showed whoville being alive and well and dr. suess wrote, “Every Who down in Whoville, the tall and the small,Would stand close together, with Christmas bells ringing. They’d stand hand-in-hand. And the Whos would start singing!” the movie and the book both showed that they were whos and they both joyful and open minded. They both show this by both of the genres were still celebrating christmas even after the grinch stole the presents and anything christmas related. Therefore, setting shows that the this is a good film adaptation of The Grinch.
The final reason is that the movie is good adaptation is when The grinch stole everything that was christmas this is when they showed the same plot in both the book and the movies.This was expressed In the movie when they showed
