Located in the Appalachians, Green Mountain coffee was once known for its hospitality and attractive amenities among home buyers. Green Mountain offered home ownership as well as a lifestyle. Being a property owner got you a membership in the resort with ski passes and discount golf
Gunter was a manager who directed his small company. He made sure that the employees were well trained and knowledgeable of the company. It was unfortunate that in all of Gunter’s effect to make sure that the employees were well trained, he was unable to keep them. Gunter realized that he had good employees but they were leaving because there was no room for growth and there was no increase in salary. Gunter realized that as a manager he needed to make some changes in order for his company to grow. Gunter decided to hire a consultant to help him with his company. Gunter found out that the employees who left his company were so well trained by him that it made it easy for them to find better jobs. He also realized that constant turnover could be good as well as bad. The good part is that the employees who left the company were able to say that they loved working at his company but unfortunately they had to leave because there were no benefits there.

Gunter?
Gunter was a caretaker who was concerned about his employees and he took the time to train them well. He wanted the best for his employees and therefore he took the time to invest in them even though some of them did not stay with the company. Unfortunately his employees were trained well but they were not paid well and therefore many of them did not remain. It was his training that caused his employees to move on and get better paying jobs .His change outcome were unintended because No matter what he did, he couldn’t come up with a solution that worked
The Hospitality literature?
The hospitality literature is a nurturer; Gunter stood by his company but he realized that he had a problem and he needed to make some changes. Gunter was willing to get some outside help once he realized that he could not solve the company problems. He invested in his company and he was looking forward to make the necessary changes to make his company successful.
The consultant?
The consultant is the interpreter image. They are called in when the manager is no able to find
