Thank you for taking the time to read this letter. My name is Jordan Carranza and I am in 6th grade. I originally read your book because when I read your first book and I just had to have more. Fantasy is my favorite genre so your books are right up my alley. Although you are a great author you are not my favorite, I like Christopher Paloni, the author of Eragon, even better.
The thing I liked best about your book The Deathly Hallows was that it takes place in different environments a part from Hogwarts unlike the other books. I also cared for the characters more in this book more than the others did. I also got lost in the story many times which I love to do. You and Christopher Paloni Write somewhat Similar.
The person I would act the most opposite of would be Ron. If I were put in Rons place in the story, I would not have run off on Harry Hermione. Although I would be worried a lot, and would have cracked under pressure, which means I would not have stabbed the locket. Therefore, I would not have helped much. I did not like Harry or Ron much in this book but I did like Hermione and Neville. If I could ask Harry a question it would be did you have confidence while searching for horcruxes. Harry would probably answer “No, but I did not want to let Dumbledore down along with everyone else.”
The thing I love most about your books are the ways you can make the reader picture a scene, your best writing element is Description. For example, when Harry saw the sword of Gryffindor in the ice you were so descriptive I too felt cold. Also, very descriptive when Harry talked to Dumbledores sprit.
Your book was very tense, when Fred died and when Hermione is tortured. In addition, there was so much action I did not even notice that Tonk and Lupins had died. That was definitely an emotional scene.
