Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows
Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows is the thrilling end to the Harry Potter series. It’s filled with action, drama, romance and suspense. Who wouldn’t want to read it? And, unlike any other Harry Potter book, it doesn’t take place at Hogwarts, but instead, the gang roams the world in search of the Horcruxs, dark objects making the evil Lord Voldemort immortal, all leading up to the epic showdown between Voldemort, and Harry, good and evil, dark and night, light and day, and, well, you get the idea…
The story starts off with Harry packing up his things, preparing to say good bye to his home on Piviet Drive forever. The reason is, once he turns 17, the magic protecting the house will be broken, and it will become vulnerable to attack from the evil Lord Voldemort, and his cult of followers, the Death Eaters. Also, his relatives, the Dursley’s, must leave, because they think Voldemort might try to capture and torture them. As Harry gets ready to leave, all his friends and members of The Order of the Phoenix, a secret organization helping to fight Voldemort, arrives to escort him. After his friends drink a magical potion to make them look like Harry, they take off.
Harry is riding in a magic motor cycle, with his lifelong friend, Hagrid, the half giant. When they take off, to their surprise, they had been betrayed! The Death Eaters were swarming the skies, trying to find the real Harry and take him down. As they continue to try and escape, and make it to their designated safe house, Harry’s pet owl, Hedwig, is killed. In the middle of the fury, suddenly, Lord Voldemort comes and joins the fray. Harry and Hagrid barely escape, and after everyone meets back up, they discover George, one of the Weasly twins, lost an ear and Mad Eye Moody, a man with a magic eye, had been killed.
A few weeks later at the wedding of Bill Weasly and Fleur, in the middle of the celebration, they got word that the Ministry of Magic had been taken over by Death Eaters, and that they were coming to ambush the wedding. The gang, Harry, Ron, and Hermione, barely escape together. Thankfully, Hermione, clever as she is, packed everything they needed in a magic purse, bigger on the inside than on the outside. The gang decides it would be best to head back to 12 Grimmauld Place, the house of his late Godfather, Sirius Black. They make friends with the House Elf, Kreacher.
After they discover that their old Defense Against the Dark Arts (D.A.D.A) Professor, the evil Umbridge, may be in possession of a Horcrux, they plan how to get it back. They manage to sneak into the Ministry of Magic, and find it. Sadly, the plan goes wrong, and they’re discovered!
After narrowly escaping, and helping persecuted Muggle Borns, or wizards born to non-wizard parents, escape from the Ministry of Magic, they hide in the woods, because in their haste,
