The demand for the best insurance company to deal with certain issues is very high. With health care reform, health benefits must be offered by an employer that had fifty of more employees. It is the insurance company’s main concern to provide their services without any risks and still make a profit.Castor Collins Insurance has been asked by two different companies to provide insurance for their employees. “Constructit has one thousand employees and will pay up to a maximum of $4,000 in premiums” (University of Phoenix, n.a.). E-editor has one thousand six hundred employees and is willing to pay up to $4,500 in premiums. It is Castor Collin’s job to offer the best plan if any.Castor Collin has three different plans to choose from. The Castor Standard program offers health services, hospitalizations, and preventive medicine. However, it does not cover pre-existing conditions. The next option is the Caster Enhanced program. The difference between the two programs is that the enhanced program covers pre-existing conditions. Unlike the Standard program the Enhanced has a larger premium to make up for covering pre-existing conditions. The final option is the Castor Enhanced Minors. It does cover pre-existing conditions just like the Enhanced plan. However, some services can be removed to lower the premium. In order to determine which insurance plan is best for which company we have to look at the health of the employees and what their jobs require them to do physically.“Constructit has 550 men and 450 women whose ages range from 26 to 42” (University of Phoenix, n.a.). Thirty-two percent of the employee’s work involves a large amount of activity. Twenty-five percent of the employees engage in moderate physical activity. The remaining employees have a very light work activates. Then percent of the men and eight percent of the woman smoke. Most of the time employees are absent because of injury, respiratory problems, gastrointestinal problems, headaches and allergies. Obesity affects thirty-nine percent of employees. This makes the risk for other disease a moderate severity.
