Their cost for raw manufacturing material is increasing all the time for produce a tire because of the oil price increasing.Problem:According to the investigation result, the foremen position is lack of human resource for several reasons. One reason is that this position needs to coordinate the management and the union well and it is not easy to realize. The other reason is lack of promotion opportunity.Opportunity:If high turnover rate from the foremen decreased, the manufacturing cost would be decreased as well and Treadway Tire’s company will be more productive and increased profit. With more work forces, the dissatisfaction will be not that severe.
Recommendations:According to Goodwin, L. (1969), goals will help with increasing the job satisfaction. Set goals suitable and reachable with good work environment will help with lower the turnover rate for foremen. Base on Galup, S. D., klein, G., & Jiang, J. J.
