DESCRIBE A HISTORICAL PLACE IN YOUR HOMETOWN You should say: What the place is? Where it is located? What is the historical meaning of the place?Describe your experience at that placeAlthough Phu Tho province has many impressive historical places, I would like to talk about one of the most popular attractions and considered by some as a must visit place in Phu Tho. That place is Hung King temple which is situated in Viet Tri city. The temple was built on Nghia Linh mountain which used to be located inside the Van Lang kingdom 4000 years agoThe temple of Hung Kings consists of 4 temples, 1 pagoda and a tomb which were built during the 18 and 19 centuries. It is the place to worship Hung Kings who are the first founder of our country, the ancestors of Viet Namese people. Annualy, millions of people from all parts of Viet Nam converge on Hung temple to commenmorate ancestors and pray for good health, good luck, happiness and success for families, relatives and friends. There is a famous saying:  “anywhere we go, we must remember the tenth of March – the memorial day of our ancestors”. This tradition embodies spiritual solidarity and provides an occasion to acknowlegde nation origins and sources of Viet Namese cultural and mortal identity.I personally love to take a stroll under the canopy of old trees along the entrance to Hung temple. It makes me feel as immersed in natural and the time maybe stopped for a moment. Also, it gives me an indescribable nostalgic feeling whenever I do that. Every year, on the first day of Lunar New year, I usually gather there with my friends to pray for a peaceful year for our family. Those are some of experiences I think I will miss dearly when I live far away from home.
