Home Depots slogan is a well known slogan that seems to fit exactly what Home Depot stands for. The slogan says “You Can Do It. We Can Help.” This slogan means that Home Depot will be there whenever you need them. This does not mean that Home Depot doubts their customers abilities, rather that if by chance a customer gets lost or stuck or has any questions, Home Depot will help. Customers find that a house is only a house till Home Depot helps to make it a home. Friendly service and encouraging smiles is what will make customers continue to return time and again.

Home Depot carries many products that are used for many different jobs. There are many different exclusive brands that Home Depot carries such as Ryobi, Workforce, Thomasville cabinetry, Ralph Lauren paint, Hampton Bay lighting and ceiling fans, and Glacier Bay faucets. These are just to name a few but these brands are very popular within the home rebuilding industry and are in stock throughout the thousands of Home Depots around the world. There are many services that Home Depot offers to its customers, employees as well as the community. First of all Home Depot has many knowledgeable employees willing to work with customers to show them how to do a certain project. Home Depot also has demo areas around the store in which customers can try out products they are planning on purchasing. For example if a customer is interested in a certain brand of floor buffers or polishers, Home Depot can help them with their decisions. One of the companies co-founders Arthur Blank recently purchased the Atlanta falcons, a successful team in the NFL (National Football League). This purchase will help the city of Atlanta and hopefully help the Falcons become a better team with less financial strains then before. Along with these teams and sponsorships, the Home Depot center also acts as the home to other sports such as Major League Lacrosse, Major League Soccer as well as important sporting events in the past. In 2006, Home Depot will be introducing numerous “Fuel Centers” at a few area stores. You guys are like most other people! I used to work at Home Depot, but I never got a job until recently! You know, when they’re trying to get you. And when we’re really trying to help them, you’re doing their own thinking just by thinking of you!
When I look back at it this way, I’m amazed how few people got jobs at Home Depot last year. Of those 10, only 3 said they had any involvement in a project or project-related thing they had done. And I think that’s a poor testament to the amount they’ve invested in. I thought they were just all sitting around doing nothing. I was like, “I understand, I’d like to work more, I want to work more, why can’t we ask about that? I really want to do more training.” But I’m never even sure they knew about that thing we had for a project. And it was all kind of cool work. And they still have no idea what that thing can do. I have a boyfriend who came to work at home depot in 2005 which is the one where I’ve trained for years. I’d never done anything at home depot. So there’s probably just never really been anything happening to him. He’s kind of a non-starter in my eyes, and I try to help with everything that I do. He’s a home depot guy, and it’s always nice to see him there. And I’m amazed that he comes back for so many years after his first job. But I also understand something about you, it’s always nice to do things for people who are working. All these training programs, everything is about helping other people. And then, I mean, what is happening in the industry? Why would they want to help us solve some big problem or some big problem if you don’t have the equipment needed to do that job?
