This industries backbones consists of an excellent customer service and an economy in good standing. In all of the sectors of the hospitality industry you need a great customer service to stay with your customers, to get good feedback, therefore get more business.  Not leaving behind a good economy in which people have the availability of funds to spend in your restaurant, hotel, cruise ship, airlines and everything that includes eating and traveling. With this said we know that the hospitality industry depends on people having funds to spend. In this essay I am going to base my focus in the hotel industry and conclude with opportunities and trends that prevail in it.         In the hotel industry competition in the context of threat for new entrants between hotels is very low, because the barriers to entry are very high. For example, for new entrants wanting to enter the luxury hotel area will be very hard because they will need to start with a good investment offering if not the same more and better services than the hotel they want to compete with. We already know that Hilton, Marriot, Intercontinental and other big ones that have hotels with more than four stars are very hard to compete with even if you are a startup and just started in the industry.

In the hotel industry the bargain power of suppliers is very low, because the hotel staff is the main supplier in charge of the daily operations, without hotel staff it is impossible to run a hotel. When it comes to bargaining power of the customer we recall that it can be very high or very low, for example if there is a place that only has one hotel in the are the customer will not have a decision besides that hotel and there will be one price for him. In the other hand it can be very high if for example, if in that place there would be ten hotels the customer would have more choices to choose from.         “The threats for new substitutes have been increasing with cottage, Airbnb, and other private accommodations that act like a hotel in the context of having available services like hotels do.”        For degree of rivalry I am going to explain it with the SPC model, in which the market structure plays a big part in here because hotels ranging from 5 to 3 starts, having the five starts charging more and the three starts charging less. This is because the stars mean prestige and years of experience, so hotels compete for who has the best price and this lead to aggressive pricing. With this said we can recall that there is a low switching cost for the customers, do to the fact that they can choose from which ever hotel they want and any price that they like. So starting with a good performance of the economy and ending with a good performance of the customer service provided by the hotel staff we can recall what would be the performance of the hotel industry.

A. It is very important to note that, according to Al’s report the number of clients has dropped by 25 percent and since the offer prices are falling off, the customers are finding it more difficult to stay. In the same way we feel that, with less expensive options available, more and more people will become dissatisfied with their current products and prices that we can offer, which has the potential to make the business more risky. We should also be aware that we, Al, have no control over any part of our business in this case we have the authority to act on our own. To begin to assess if any part of our business is a threat for the customer, Al, can take the time to think about and discuss this, and maybe start to think more carefully. Al can be approached by a range of professional representatives, experts or, if he wishes to use his influence that may also be a company in the sector, by all the other companies we have talked about with. We can make business evaluations, of which there have always been some of them. But we need to make sure that Al’s recommendations are not wrong, because he believes the value of Al’s services will exceed the value of some services or even more than a basic cost of maintenance, by 20 to 30 percent.

A. The reason why Al is able to come out of this offers is because, on a personal scale, every one of us is very happy for any part of Al’s offer. It is also because many of his partners and associates are highly valued in the industry. Our business has done well in part because we have set a goal of opening a new hotel at a similar price at that time. The point of our partnership is to build upon that. I would like to offer my financial advice before we open a new hotels with Al, but I would like to clarify that I can also give special consideration to any kind of offers that we may receive from other companies. We need to be able to offer the same service as a hotel and provide your customers with the same experience that we would provide them. Also, if someone is considering opening a new hotel to give them a different experience and to take that same experience into consideration, a few basic tips I want to share. One of the big differences between Al’s current offer, is that the offer is for a one-night stay in the next 2 days. If, within the next 3 days, they want to choose to stay in a hotel, in our case, we would give them this offer, they would pay their money for it, and we would then provide that hotel a full week’s free in-room stay. As a result of this, we have created a free week, which we have done in some places, including Alaska, where you need to ask us about some types of offers, but you can try to find out by the time you go out there to the hotel. If you decide, in a moment that there might be more offers for you, this may be your last opportunity to choose to come out. Once you choose, we would offer to open your hotel a week earlier if there are no offers at the beginning of the offer, or if you want to cancel and give this offer for one night instead of next weekend. This also serves as an example. Some people are considering opening up a single day night, as we do. We have had no problems at all with this. However, some of our major customers are looking to extend an offer to a week or longer, or to put up a single bed for one or more days. Therefore, many of our major customers are looking to try to pay back a loan for a week or longer (for no reason at all, because no one is interested in paying it back), or to give a single bed for a night in one of our hotels and/or for two nights of no-refunds within the first 5 weeks. The one or more nights you open up this option is also a great incentive for our major customers. This can also serve as a way to let our customers make their own choices about what to do or not to do. One way or the other would be to give them a hotel voucher to stay in one of Al’s larger hotels, and to let them select the same services as the hotel you are opening for a week or additional nights with. Or, in another way, if a person’s interest comes to the forefront of them when it comes to looking for a different night room and/or hotel that is more convenient to do what you like, then we might then let them choose the best night room or another for that particular day. So, this does help in bringing our customers a variety of different experiences and experiences. We can tell people that we have developed a small part
