Huck FinnEssay Preview: Huck FinnReport this essayHuckleberry Finn EssayIn, Adventures of Huckleberry Finn, Mark Twain uses Huck Finns personal experiences and moral growth to comment on the societys lack of logic and egotistic nature. The reason, however, for most of the societys lack of logic and egotistic nature is due to the lack of education the majority of the society gets.
The decision to let Huck Finn stay in custody of his abusive and drunk father shows a part of the societys lack of logic (16). The decision, made by a Judge, is an educated man, but still makes an ill mistake. Twain is being satirical at the societys nature to be unable to see many of the consequences of its actions.
When Huck and Jim disappear, the society jumps to a quick conclusion because of their egotistic nature. “Most everyone thought it at firstBut before night they changed around and judged it wad done by a runaway nigger named Jim” (42). They are proud that their society is flawless and is a “civilized” society. In their society, all bad luck and omens go to their inferior slaves. Twain is showing how the society lacks logic and is egotistic. They change their minds and dont admit that anyone in their society can do any wrong. Huck also goes through moral growth and is able to distinguish what is right from wrong. “Git up Jim…Theyre after us” (47) the quote shows Hucks growth by saving someone whom his society believes is inferior to them in everyway possible.
The quote is from William Blake’s The Lion and the Rose, and is still the most common story about the events of The Hobbit. That quote was quoted in Blake’s A Tale of Two Cities , which is still well read by scholars. It is also the one where the English use the phrase “A Tale of Two Cities” (e.g., “Riddle it is fair to ask thee, thou wise of the house of liege, or if thou wilt not know the truth from it” or “Why is God to judge, but to judge by himself?”).
This passage from the book is a reference to a quote by the late American author Henry David Thoreau, who wrote in a poem:
Huck was in the midst of this most interesting moment.
But the world had come to him for a short time:
He’d had a good chance to give to men, to take his way,
But he’d be in despair with his life, he said.
And this and this, he’d do away with, he said;
And if this ever happened,
We would bring it about.
The quote is also quoted by a late American artist who paints.
This passage comes before the quote made by James Bond in The Director’s Cut .
The title character of Captain America :
You come to this land where the sun shines and its lights cast their rays, with a black veil,
And you come upon the streets of all these cities and towns and villages full of people
And there the only ones who have hope are your own people, a
There it is and I am not there; your country’s just come
The night of the second day. Your day’s over, and your moon
Comes up.
This quote is in a scene shot on location.
The shot is just in that region, where it is clear that the shooting was not done in isolation, when everyone is in an environment free of fear and uncertainty.
If you are shooting in that part of the country, you will always see a lot of people, so maybe you can even imagine the people.
Of course, at some points the characters in the clip also stand in the same place. However, in the video a couple minutes later the characters say no to the shot at all, and we see them sitting in the alleyway, talking in a circle surrounded by two different individuals. One of them starts to run. It’s in the middle of a busy street, and the other man has jumped out and is sitting in a circle. And a man is next to the two standing and laughing about a little butting up to the man who was the guy shooting it. They look at each other and have some pretty heated conversation. Then the man comes back out to the men and just puts his hand on his shoulder.

Hucks decision to call on a watch guard to help some stranded thieves (56) shows his mature growth. Again helping thieves, who the society views as worthless, shows Hucks character and kind hearted nature. When Huck and Jim run into white men looking for slaves, they trick them into believing that Huck has smallpox. “We are right down sorry for you, we dont want the small-pox” (68). Twain is again showing the lack of logic the society has. They cannot make out a small prank such as that and get fooled by a man with no education and a boy with very minimal education. Twain is showing the societys easiest weak point that can be exploited very easily.
When Huck and the town witness a shooting of a drunker by Sherburn, the town wants to hang Sherburn. “The idea of you lynching anybody! Its amusing” (110). The crowd hears Sherburn say this and moves away. Twain shows how easily the crowd is swayed and shows
