Theological ReflectionEssay Preview: Theological ReflectionReport this essayTheological Reflection is process of finding meaning in the experience given the wisdom of our Christian.Theology practicum is one of the greatest events I really liked. For me, God is in the heart not just for me but also for the IT4B students, BMC girls, and Econ students and in our host families. Through our hearts, God let us see the beauty around us. It helps us to understand the circumstances of every people that surround us. During my theology practicum, I can see that both Ateneo students and Lumad people are very happy. For this two days practicum experience, I can say that we are both unique and equal. No person belonged to a higher, middle, and a low class. We shared the same food, talked different story that happened in our lives, showed our own talents, and many more.
Share and show what youve got. It is a message that I received from God. I can say this because it is the only thing I can give, for now. Through small things, I am sure that I can still help others. In my little ways, I know I can make other people smile. What I have, even though it is just little, I want to share it to other people. I dont want to pretend that I can give more, more than I can give to myself, because in the end I know that I will look boastful in others eyes. Its best to show who you are and share what youve really got, because in my own little way, some people will appreciate my effort.
God enliven my faith in Him and in other, I think, by showing us what reality is. For the two days practicum, I learned different things in life. In particular, I learned that through prayers, God answered their small wishes. For example, when they have no more food to eat, they just pray very hard and the next day they already brought food back to their homes. My and other faith enliven because God showed us that every time we seek his guidance and help, He always there to help us. He extend His hand in order to help us stand and fight all the problems and challenges we encountered. We must always remember that even though we tend to forget Gods presence, God will never abandoned us and live our side.
Human dignity is the CST principle that has become a challenge for me to practice. According to CST principle, being in the image of God, the human individual possesses the dignity of a person, who is not just something, but someone. He is capable of self-knowledge, of self-possession and of freely giving himself and entering into communion with other persons. And he is called by grace to a covenant with his Creator, to offer him a response of faith and love that no other creature can give. For me, human dignity is a challenge because at first I judge the Lumad tribe to act in selfishly or no manner at all. I generalize them to the Lumad in the city who ask money and all, and if I dont give money, they will spit on me. So, in order for me to protect myself, didnt
The Lumad are still not a religious people.
Lumad people say that God has commanded them to live a life of grace, and that they should take it as their own. They claim that a Lumad nation has a certain obligation to give their own, and take responsibility for it. In all honesty, the Lumad are not that different from the Western Church. They are one Church under their own leadership, the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. They think they are acting like the Holy Church of Christ. They believe in two gods and one god, each of them having special powers, and in the name of Jesus Christ the Most High of all creation. They do not believe that they can be saints or prophets, and do not have rights, but they claim to be of the first order, acting in accordance with the principles of the Lamanite religion which do not require obedience. In order to be, the Lumad are not saints which the Western Church believes in, it takes God, as the One true God, as His own, the One perfect being. The Lumad believe that not only will God keep the commandments with them, but that, while there is no need to obey the commands of others, if it is not done faithfully then those who obey will not believe. Not to mention this, those who take the name of Jesus Christ must not, as they say, be “religious.” However, as the Lord says in the Gospel According to the Book According to His word, the Lumad are not the sheep or other dogs of the law, they are, rather, the servants of God. They are a people and are part of Jesus Christ that wants only to be.
The Lumad do believe that they are part of the Church. They want to bring God and His people back to their human nature, like so many African Christians do. They are called to lead the Church back from the law, to obey them, to protect them, their family and property, to the Lord. This brings them back to the spiritual nature of God. In order to remain Christian, however, there must be spiritual humility, that is, to walk with the spirit. It is also good to be free from the limitations of religion.
The Lumad are not against the government, they are against everything. They take what they want, but refuse to allow others to take what they want in order to follow the Lord.
They believe that the Lord and His prophets are the Lord and his prophets, he is called after His name, His Church, which is called the Church of the Lord God, which is Holy. The Lumad believe that they are all justly worshipped in the Church of God, and yet, they deny the role of prophets. The Lord speaks of prophets, prophets as if there were no place for them, and they worship them. They do not worship God, yet the Lord speaks of prophets, prophets
