Human Resource Management in the Cloud
Ultimately, an organizations implementation of cloud computing and mobile technology in human resource management can prove to be beneficial and efficient.
In todays world technology is the way of life, whether youre at home, work, school, or even out with friends. There arent many of us out there anymore that can go a day without using it in some way, shape, or form. Cloud computing and mobile technology have helped shape the internet world as we now know it. These two components play a key role in the way many of todays business processes are being run, one in particular being Human Resource Management.
Human Resource Management deals with employment policies, procedures, communications, and compliance requirements. These individuals are responsible for tasks such as planning, recruiting, interviewing, hiring, compensation, benefits, evaluations, and termination. It is the job of HR professionals to keep employee files organized, up to date, and most importantly, confidential.

Human Resource Management is the one area of an organization that has probably evolved more rapidly than any other. They are no longer considered the middle man of the company, but now they work alongside upper management to create ongoing value for the organization. Instead of being transaction-oriented, they are now focused on things such as strategic planning, strategic discipline, and performance management. This are provides elasticity and cuts unnecessary costs by eliminating the oversized software programs and licensing. They are also stopping the vicious cycle of upgrades every few years by leaving it in the hands of the vendor. This also allows them to utilize their time more wisely in an effort to provide more profitability for the organization as a whole.
Moving Human Resources to the cloud provides a more centralized database for any authorized personnel to gain access to necessary information as needed. The cloud also allows HR managers to respond to vital issues at a much faster pace and with better accuracy. Some other advantages of having an efficient cloud computing HR system are: allowing online applications, keeping track of the entire recruitment process, setting reminders, producing detailed reports and searches, managing everything from inductions to appraisals, creating letters for employee functions, hiring, and compensation, and lastly it has the ability to connect with payroll
