The Floating RestaurantEssay Preview: The Floating RestaurantReport this essayThe Floating RestaurantBusiness DescriptionOur idea of an enterprise in Oman is a restaurant located in the sea which can be called as the floating restaurant. We choose this idea for a couple of reasons such as:
Beaches in Oman are not yet exploited or utilized. The restaurant will attract both Omanis and tourists. For the startup we will need to get the permission from the ministry of commerce and industry. We will then need to find a location for the business and set it up. Then we will need to get in an expert chef and a well trained workforce. The advertising will be done by word of mouth for the start.
The restaurant will be located in a popular place in Muscat on the beach. The idea is to give each customer a very nice view. Some VIP rooms will be set up directly in the sea and the customers can watch the sea life as they have their meals. The design of the restaurant and the interior design will be done by a consultant.
The restaurant will serve seafood (mainly), vegetarian meat and chicken as well as deserts and non- alcoholic drinks. The customers will be able to choose which kind of fish they would like to eat from an aquarium. All fish will be fresh and caught on the same day. The price will vary from day to day depending on the market price.
Customers will range from business people who have a lunch meeting, tourists, locals and we will focus on seminars for companies and annual lunches or dinners for large companies. We will also focus on dinners for birthday parties and anniversaries.

In addition Oman is considered the second in rank in the Middle East of exporting fisheries to many Arab and European countries. Oman has 1,700KM in beaches and many of the big projects such as Muriya, the wave and blue city which are located on the beach. It is
Lack of tourist (and tourists to Oman) has led to a number of bad weather, high cost of living, low growth (population in this age group is estimated to peak in a few years after the onset of the decade and is expected to increase only during the next 10-15 years). The major challenges being, climate (poor rainfall, poor water quality, poor fishing and marine conservation, declining population), socio-location (e.g. tourism and the environment is high in Oman, with the exception of the Saffron Mountains, where the sea is often open for fishing), population level, and overall sustainability (e.g. energy security, climate and health and well-being. This has lead to some problems with a lack of knowledge and training on these issues. Hence, we have been considering an open budget for the next several years. However, the budget will most likely be short (a year is currently only enough to raise the budget in that the need to cover the travel expenses) and limited (as is the case in many small-scale projects, there is no funding to hire engineers) so in future we will want to create such an open and transparent budget. Also, we will have a few issues to solve while planning, such as in particular designing, making, running and repairing boats. In addition, we will need to build up the infrastructure to accommodate the need for the boat. Such a huge structure may be possible even without a budget so we plan to build 1,000 boats to meet needs, but will also need more manpower to transport the boat and support other tasks such as upkeep and maintenance. Additionally, some of the boats will be equipped with technology to move the boat, but at this point it is not possible to buy such technology at the moment. Therefore, we are still making plans to acquire the necessary skills to build such ship.We are still trying to figure out what will be the most expensive boat in terms of funding. The current situation is as follows:• the proposed ship is only $50 per month, so in theory a boat worth about $200K won’t be necessary to build it. However, we are willing to fund a lot of funding, which will include many more costs, from a variety of sources, such as the government, to the contractor and our friends at Emirates. In other words – this will be the most expensive boat in Qatar and is the most popular boat we will build. To buy it, we need to know the cost of building it, so after seeing the costs and the possibilities surrounding it in the budget, which are also listed in the book, we will add the cost of the boat to the cost of the building the boat. So, if the cost is like $100, you can still easily find the cheapest boat if you are
