Bleep bleep bleep! Censorship happens everywhere where its actions or a word theres always something being censored. Why does everything have to be censored? If parents dont want their children to see it or hear it merely change the channel or take the book away or what ever it is that has the profanity in it.
Profane language is one of the major issues today in movies and such. The only way its not censored is if you buy the DVD from the store, even than sometimes you can get a censored version of it! The FCC is constantly blocking language with a bleep or a different word no where near the original word. In a sense it ruins the story because who wants to watch a movie where there is bleeps that annoy you.
Cigarettes, alcohol, and illegal drugs are being censored or set as the movie is R rated. If children dont watch stuff like that how are you going to explain to them that drugs are bad! In just about every movie with drug use the people using drugs always end up with a horrible thing happening to them. This would show children how drugs can make your life turn for the worst.
Nudity is also out there. if parents dont want children to see it they have created something with television where you can block certain channels with a password so that your children cant get into them and watch. Why dont you do that for channels you know play movies you deem inappropriate for your children. Why does the whole world got to be censored due to a few outrageous parents. I realize its objectifying men or women but if its just a women wearing a bathing suit and its censored thats ridiculous! If you dont want your children watching it dont allow them to, you are the parent.
If parents dont agree with the movie, channel, program playing just shut it off; there is an off button on electronics. Theres a saying, “censorship is blindness.” Weve gotten so restrictive on what we can watch or read now a days. Just think how would u feel if it got so bad that even Disney movies became R rated?
