IntegrityIntegrity has several important parts that define it. One of those parts is being true to yourself. Being true to yourself is very important because you are listening to your inner self. Trusting your gut instinct and your heart usually is what is important to oneself. If you think your gut instinct is wrong than it usually is. This is probably the most important part of integrity. Before you can be true to others, first you have to be true to yourself.        When oneself is doing something wrong, and knowing the difference between what is right and wrong and continually doing it. If oneself knows that it is bad to cheat, lie, and steal, and other bad things to people, your integrity whispers to you and tells you that you shouldnt be doing these things and that youre better than that. If we are doing these things to other people, than we are only hurting ourself and our integrity.        Integrity really depends on a person’s view of it. Some people tell white lies to make them sound tough, or even to get out of trouble by downplaying the situation. People that do these things probably dont understand what integrity actually is. If they do know what integrity means they are only hurting themselves morally by continuing to do these wrong things.  Integrity is something a person does for oneself and for the people around them. Integrity plays a big part in being happy and successful in life. This results in pleasing those who are around you and yourself. People with integrity do what they think is true to the core and when they get told opposite, they will learn from their wrong doings. Integrity thus helps unify the people together and affects the society as a whole positively. Integrity can have many multiple meanings to different people, but integrity as a whole is the same for everyone.
