The Chairman is from the Government of India and has lived in the USA, Switzerland, and Canada since 1985. He was a member of India’s National Election Commission and served as a member of the European Parliament for three years from 1994 to 1998. He holds PhD in Computer Systems Systems, Department of Physics, Department of Mathematical Sciences and Physics at the Faculty of Arts and Sciences of the University of Oxford, UK and Master of Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Science at the University of California, Berkeley. Besides serving as a visiting Fellow of New Society for Information Technology and Technology in India, Mr. Fadia is the founder, Chairman, Co-Chair, Director, and COO of Tata Consultancy Services, Inc. he is also the founder Chairman of the International Telecommunications Commission of India.
Fadia has been Director for Corporate and Corporate Governance for the US Chamber of Commerce for three years as Chairman. He served in the U.S. Senate for four years from 1993 to 2002 and served as a senator from 2006 to 2012.
Mr. Fadia is an award winning economist who has published more than 20 books spanning topics ranging from economics to politics and law and has numerous patents. Over 1,000 papers have been published throughout the U.S and he is the recipient of numerous prize winning grants and awards from the Government Accountability Office, the RAND Corporation and the U.S. Department of Justice (Government Accountability Office is a U.S. law enforcement and security agency that focuses on cyber and law enforcement issues). He is chairman of the Advisory Board of the New York Academy of Sciences, and Vice Chairman of the Board of Special Advisers for the World Investment Trust. Fadia started his career as a computer programmer in 1995 after going to a college in London working for some time. After studying at Cambridge University, Fadia joined IT at McKinsey & Company in 1995 using the research and development services he created. He now works as an analyst in the Department of Information Technology, Research and Business Intelligence. In 2007, Fadia was named a Fellow of the Royal Society and received the Best Foreign Policy Awards Award. Fadia began his career as a Computer Systems consultant in London after being part of CTO of a major U.S. company before becoming an analyst. He is currently serving as the CTO of the Microsoft Group and is in charge of the corporate support network to clients and companies across the globe. He was recently appointed CMO of Facebook and currently serves as CMO of Microsoft Corp. in Washington DC.
