Similarly, India is deep-rooted in its glorious past. India has no competition in its varied culture and heritage. It is not easy to sum up its heritage in few words. The culture of India has been formed by its long history, unique geography and the adoption of different customs, religions, traditions and ideas. These were extracted from its neighbors as well as from its preserved ancient heritages, which were shaped up during the Indus Valley Civilization and evolved further during the Muslim conquests and European colonization, Vedic age, rise and decline of Buddhism and Golden age.

India has been the center of different religions. The two well-known religions Hinduism and Buddhism are started in India. The other religions including Christianity, Jainism, Islam, and Sikhism are also practiced in India. Every religion has its own culture and traditions. It has its own festivals and there is a unique way of celebrating each festival. Food plays an important role in celebrating the festivals; this is also a source of socializing and a family gets together. The national language of India is Hindi and hundreds of other languages are also spoken in different states and territories of India.Art, music and different artifacts are also the symbol of a rich cultural diversity of India. A good sense of design is also the feature of Indian art and can be seen in its modern as well as in its traditional forms. The music of India includes varieties of religious, folk, pop and classical music and these are the sources of entertainment for past ages. While normally advancing with the dynamic powers of history and innovative impact of incredible experts, these traditions have kept up the trustworthiness of its fundamental heritage.
