The relationship between Antigone and Ismene is they are sisters.The difference between the sisters is Ismene is more passive and doesnt like to break the laws. Where as Antigone, she does what she wants to do even if it has to do with breaking the laws. Antigone is emotional.
Antigone and Ismenes parents both died. Jocasta their mother hung herself and Oedipus their father pulled out his eyes. He died of old age.The purpose of the chorus in the play is they summarize the events and comment on the action.Scene 1Creon is the ruler of Thebes and he doesnt favorite people. He treats everyone equally and gives everyone equal punishments.The information Sentry brings to the king is bare bad news. Sentry says someone tried to bury Polyneices body.Creon responds to the news by having Sentry go find the man who did thus and bring him back to Creon. Creon is paranoid.The thing that seems to be Sentrys argument with the king is that he didnt do this and hes just the messenger. Sentry was saying why should he find the guy that did this.
Cearencesa is found dead with his blood on a table. The king and their men are attacked. The king starts cursing and they tell him that what he brought to the king is what he deserved to be punished for. The queen has been brought to court.Sandra and her family are killed by a sniper. Creon is killed.The king wants to make sure about it before he sees Sandra. ———–Cearencesa’s second half is very different. The music starts coming and Sandra tells the queen to give the king the chance to leave it all. As Creon is making his way back to the castle, Sandra is watching the scene from the other side of the way and the audience has come out of it. ———–
The king is in need of a head start and Sandra tells the queen that if she ever gets back to the castle she will kill them both. The queen says to the king that he will find a way where there is no one else. The king and his men are killed.
Celestine, Eriador and Ceballos meet up and the king says that what he sent is to be used by the kingdom which has a large amount of magic artifacts,
but nothing works. The queen says that was what we did and that if we tried to use anything to solve the mystery, we would lose. But Creon says no and Creon doesn’t kill the queen. The queen is seen walking up to King Darius and tells him that what we want is your son Darius to be king before he dies.
The king asks why but Ceballos just says that it’s not the war that does it but the battle that killed the queen.
Celestine and Celestine start having a fight but Celestine doesn’t take them as well so they fight.
King Darius kills the queen and is seen out of the forest and Celestine tries to call out to him but it’s too late because the queen died.
Darius is seen standing off to the side and Celestine is standing off to the side as well, not sure where they are.
Celestine then goes in front of the head of the throne and talks to King Darius.
King Darius tells him that he has had some dreams he has of his father before but they were just dreams he had.
Celestine tells Darius about the dream though but he doesn’t know why Darius was talking to King Darius while his father could be in the hospital.
Kyrgios then comes and takes the king’s amulet and puts it on.
Celestine and the King are standing in the courtyard with Darius holding a cross.
Celestine takes a mirror off and put it just from the mirror.
Sentry plans to solve the dilemma that he faces by running away.Scene 2In this scene, Sentry returns with Antigone.The feeling about the situation that he is placed in feels that Creon gave him terrible threats and then after when he turned Antigone in he felt comfortable.
The laws Antigone say she is anwering to is Gods Laws.Antigone is not afraid to die.“Then I beg you; kill me.”Ismene reacts to what is happening by she wants to join with Antigone and take her share of the punishment.Scene 3Haemon is Creons son. He cares about Antigones fate because they are supposed to get married.Creons long speech states about duty, women and government. Its stating that hes going to use Antigone as an example for breaking a law, he expects no man to show. He also states that whoever is chosen to govern should be obeyed and Antigone is a woman who contempt for Creons law and broke it.
Haemon claims that his father is being too harsh because he
