This source was written by World Book, Inc. They are well known for their award-winning encyclopedias called, The World Book Encyclopedia. They have been publishing encyclopedias and other reference products that meet the highest standards of editorial excellence for almost ninety years. The intended audience of this article can be history majors who are trying to pursue a career in teaching history or just a general audience who are interested in history and would like to know more about our worlds history. This article is mainly about what agriculture was like during the 1930s. During World War II, farmers prospered and they produced more to make more profit. When the war was over, the demand for so much farm products fell and prices dropped drastically. Many farmers had to grow even more just to almost break even and this caused agriculture to have the most overproduction than most other industries. There doesnt seem to be any bias in the article and it was easy to understand because it was very straightforward and clear. This article relates to my topic because the article had information about the overproduction in agriculture and my topic is overproduction.
