Globalization is can be defined as the interaction of different organizations around the World who work together to form a global economy. International trade, outsourcing, and the integration of multi-national organizations are all aspects of globalization
List the major drivers of globalization and provide three examples of each.
The major drivers of globalization include social or demographic changes, declining trade, technological barriers, and investment barriers. Technological barriers include such things as transportation, Internet, and cell phones. The use of technology allows information and data to be transferred at a much higher rate of speed than traditional business interactions that require no technology.
One of the major drivers of Globalization is markets. Global markets are the result of national markets merging to form one considerable market. An example of an organization that would use a national market is McDonalds restaurant. McDonalds has grown to be a global organization that provides its goods to consumers around the world.
