Kettle and Brigitte Godot were not discussing a trip to Paris, Texas. If a reward for signing a contract within 24 hours is made, it would be for a trip to Paris, France. After complaining to International Widgets, Inc., Brigitte Godot was fired, but the company is not standing by Ms. Godots promise. Could this be a practice in which the Federal Trade Corporation Act would cover because of the unfair and deceptive practices? Can P.A. Kettle prove he was intentionally misled with a trip to Paris, France into signing a contract with International Widgets, Inc.? Can International Widgets, Inc. prove they had no knowledge of Brigitte Godots sales practices and rectified the situation by firing her? Can International Widgets, Inc. prove the promise of the trip to Paris is not their responsibility since it is not in the written contract P.A. Kettle signed?
