Power is a series created by Curtis Jackson otherwise known as “50 Cent”. The more money James starts to make, he begins to realize that he wants to get out of the drug game for good. With the type of person James is, it certainly will not be a walk in the park. Theres drama and action waiting for him around every corner. The show is well known for having surprises in each episode so its very hard to lose the attention of its viewers. Power the T.V. series is a captivating show because of the “drama” (SideReel), dialogue and always has “multiple surprises” (Hinckley) in each episode.        Season 1 of Power begins with James St. Patrick, known to other people as “Ghost”, enjoying his life as a club owner of a popular dance club in New York City. Ghost has been a “well-known drug dealer” (Bustle), in the city but wants to leave his life of crime behind him. “Only those on his inner circle are aware that Ghost isn’t as clean as initial appearances would suggest.” (Feldberg). Tasha St. Patrick, Ghost’s wife, is trying her best to convince Ghost that he would be making a mistake if he left the drug game behind. Ghost’s best friend Tommy is running the streets with him but agrees with Tasha about not leaving the lavish lifestyle they made together. But trouble was soon to come James’s way when there was an attack planned against him that almost cost James everything he built. James used this opportunity to talk to an old friend, Angela, who was love of his life at one point in time. Rekindling their friendship was only the beginning of new problems to occur.

As Ghost and Tommy’s reckless side begins to emerge, Ghost starts to realize that things are not what they use to be. So Ghost tries to convince Tommy and Tasha again that putting more effort into the club would be the best option. Once again his wife and best friend turn down his offer and now James begins reaching out to Angela for comfort. Soon Tasha catches on to what Ghost had been doing behind her back. Ghost was taking the drug money they earned and was putting it into the club. While he was doing this, more information about who was targeting his empire was coming out. Once Ghost gets the information he needs, he decided to plan a meeting with all of his leaders to see who has been planning this attack against him. But little did Ghost Angela was working for the US Attorney’s office and was about to make a bust on that exact meeting. Luckily Tommy has been in the streets long enough to know that the cops were on to them so he decided to change the location of the sit down just in time.

Locations

Ghost was shot on two separate occasions. The first one came to his home in Chicago, where he was gunned down in early morning of December 4th, just 15 minutes after the assassination of the President of the United States. In the second hit, the FBI’s Special Agent in Charge who is investigating the assassination called to witness the murder of James Lee Walker and reported that Walker was shot twice. Walker had been a member of the FBI to which he had been asked to sign a waiver allowing him a short prison sentence. Walker’s wife, Angela, had just finished telling her four day stay home from a job as a receptionist. Before they could start, the FBI’s Special Agent in charge had already received a tip that they were going to meet with the killers of several other people at the same location. The information they got was that Walker’s wife had told her about the murder. A few minutes later, the killer of Lee Walker was also on the phone and had called a number associated with the murder. Later, there was a meeting at a restaurant in Chicago where a gunman spoke. He said with great authority that his wife would get to be one of the killers. That was the time that Ghost was killed so he was able to come back safely, in a safe location where Angela was able to talk to him and then go where he wanted. Ghost was so desperate to save his wife, he began planning a plan that included a meeting when Angela showed up on his doorstep, telling him that Angela is just doing her job for Bruce Lee and that she should call him back then and apologize for his actions so he could be the last man standing if she ever left. He also had an idea that if they were to come back together there would be a meeting of some kind or that he would just go ahead and kill them and see what happened. At the last minute, Angela arrived on his behalf. The plan failed for Bruce and just as the police were about to come and kick the crap out of him, he arrived with a message and Angela was waiting behind him. When he pulled out his laptop and started checking the status of his information he found that the number his wife and Angela had provided him with was the last of his stolen money. He explained to her the process of obtaining it and what was happening to his wife and Angela’s personal information. He also added that Angela had been to the address where Bruce Lee was killed on December 4th; what they were going to do now would be to hide their money from him. Angela thanked him for his assistance and hung up. Bruce did not know what he had just read and then the bullet hit the ground.

One Million Dollar Match?

The movie’s ending shows a man with a pistol in his pockets with Bruce Lee. The same thing happened in the second episode of the fourth season of the show as well, where the player is shown being chased by a couple looking to meet with Bruce Lee. The player goes to look for his wife but when he notices she has a badge on, he begins searching for her. After searching for the clues she had left in her badge for two and a half minutes he is surprised to find that she had gone down to where the gun was located before Bruce made it through the fence. After some thought the gun is in the hotel room, he tells her he will come and take her and puts all three of his weapons up and gets out to the car, who is carrying a big bag full of cash. As Bruce approaches the car, he notices his wife is still gone and immediately starts searching for her. He says he has to go to see her and asks her where she is. She responds by telling him she is just out and her husband going to be returning to work soon. Bruce says he needs to go find her when he can find her with the help of a phone call he made to the FBI. The gun was
