In the beginning, he refuses to do things he doesnt like or want to do. Jerry is the kid who wants to have control. He shows this in the story through the annual high school chocolate sale. He is given a challenge by a group of students (The Virgils), not to sell any chocolate. He decides to comply at the moment. Later he shows his personality, when the Virgils tells him to actually sell chocolates he denies it. As the story progresses, a boxing match ends up happening. After the fight, Jerry is covered in blood and passed out. He then finally learns its in his favor to do as he is told.
2. James Earl Jones (played by John Hughes) is a teenager with a great sense of humor who has gained the understanding that the world is going to get much worse if he does not change. As he learns to be funny, people take to him as he becomes more and more like everyone else. He becomes the most infamous character of the series, as he was one of the few characters who has been proven evil and then shown to be not only evil, but very evil. He later finds himself a pawn in the plot to stop the future from ending, which leads him to finally be saved. When he realizes he is the one at fault in his actions, he attempts to take revenge on himself. He takes advantage of his power when he accidentally runs a business that is owned by the company with a strong family in the city. Eventually, after running the business, he and his family get kidnapped by a group from the city (The C-4’s). He quickly realizes how to save the city and is able to defeat a group of C-4’s at their own game, so he eventually stops the group as well and takes their weapons back to the hospital where he spent the last of his life. He is not seen again until season six. This is the first book arc where they go through this kind of thing after a number of years where they see that we have some kind of change, that if we do not think back to old times, we can still lead a happy happy life, or worse, become a little too selfish and go it alone after leaving the band. The other book arc is a completely new time series that starts with us and the rest of the city of Gotham. We learn new information on the people who will become the next Gotham characters. The book follows the story of Jerry when he saves his family from a murder. He then finds his daughter at the mall that was killed by a killer and uses that event as evidence to get the people responsible for the murder in order to prove that his daughter is not a murderer. He discovers that her father, Joe Sacco is not the murderer, so this also proves that Joe killed his daughter instead. This was the first book arc that we know is going to show the people that started the city, our characters, but it was also a place where I could not stop talking about these things and how they need to be stopped.
3. When we first read this book, I was pretty much in denial about how this is going to turn out. I felt like it would be good. At first it just didn’t feel like this was going to be anything, it wasn’t going to matter and I felt like there were going to be people who cared about this and didn’t think it’d be going well. 2. Obie is the character who I can best relate. Obie and I are both nice and easy going. For example, we both dont think Archie is nice at all according to Obies thoughts in the book. Another is, Obie expresses sympathy towards Jerrys mothers recent passing. I also would have done the same if I was in the book. We also, just hate what the Virgils do on a day to day basis. We are too nice to say whats on our minds. Obie, is to nice to be able to confront the Virgils and tell what he feels there doing is wrong. If a friend, a group, or any person does something or something that I am not really in favor of I usually tend to keep it to myself. And lastly, we are often told what to do. We arent the time of person to give orders.
3. I do not like ending at all. The ending of the book was a fight. I personally am not a fan of wrestling, fighting, or violence. I did like though the raffle at the end. the book should have ended with the Virgils conducting a raffle at the end. Students couldve bought tickets and had an opportunity to win fifty boxes of chocolate, no fight involved! As far as Jerry goes, he couldve learned the moral he did at the end of the story another way without violence. I think it wouldve
