Baker had served his 23 years with Continental Ore in many different places which made him believe he was better than most at understanding and knowing how to get along with a variety of different regional staff.
Matt Rennalls, an assistant engineer whose father owned a prominent post with the local Government is one of the brightest Barracanian prospects on the staff of Caribbean Bauxite. The company had always been pleased with Rennalls decision to work for them rather then follow his father as the minister of finance and economic planning. His fathers political role however does make him sensitive to cultural issues but having attended London University where he graduated with honors it was believe Rennalls had a diverse acceptance of cultural differences due to his international experiences.
During his initial interview with Hutchins, the production manager, Baker and Hutchins discussed the problems with Rennalls and his potential future with the company. It was made clear that Baker was to groom Rennalls as his successor.
Baker did so and after two years during an outbound interview, Baker tried to solve a complaint that he has received from a European subordinate of Rennalls who claimed Rennalls favored Barracanians over Europeans. In doing so, a cultural misinterpretation occurred during their communication process and finally the exit interview ended with Rennalls resignation.
DiagnosisThe case is an example of people of different cultures and the way in which they conduct themselves without understanding or acknowledging cultural differences and taking into consideration the perspective of their audience. Baker believed Rennalls would understand his perspective on the situation based on his international experience without considering his fathers political ties and his sensitivity to cultural slander. Baker also didnt acknowledge Rennalls non-verbal signals when he was displaying signs of discomfort, frustration, and insult. Rennalls didnt rationalize the situation and acknowledge that Baker wasnt trying to insult Rennalls or insinuate that Barracanians are an inferior culture that doesnt know how to make the things because they are young in the economic environment compared to Europeans. In my opinion however, Baker is liable for the potential problem that could bring this split between the company and the son of the minister of economy and may cause problems in the
I wish the world could see the situation the way the minister of economic and development works. However, Baker’s actions were in fact the direct instigation of Rennalls. The Minister of Economic Development told that a senior state bureaucrat of the ministry who was working on a large farmhouse had been contacted by the minister of government and asked to help with the situation. As it turned out, the bureaucrat who had helped in the matter was also a senior bureaucrat of the ministry for whom a memorandum had been filed. The minister of economy told the minister for economy that there is already a situation which requires “a few more days of discussion”. During that time, Baker was approached by Rennalls and asked to stop the farming business at the same time.
DiagnosisThe case is an example of people of different cultures and the way in which they conduct themselves without understanding or acknowledging cultural differences and taking into view the perspective of their audience. It is important to remember that the government itself does a great job of addressing culture in its affairs, and the whole matter is being reviewed by the ministry for the proper implementation and resolution. Since those who want to get a grip on the matter are the ones who have actually spoken to the minister. The ministerial secretary who was handling the matter told the minister to stop talking to anyone who did not want to talk to Baker.

In a separate post, Baker has mentioned that his family and their friends have been taking matters into their own hands and that the government would do everything in its power to address the needs of the young people living in the agricultural sector. In the past, as the minister of agriculture (the secretary of the ministry for the agriculture sector), I has spoken about the need to do everything and all to stop the situation becoming a political struggle.
DiagnosisI hope that you see that in every day life there is change and change happens in times between one and two but I hope that it’s not for your benefit that the government is dealing with this. To make a difference, it is of particular importance to do it right. For example, if we could put in place the reforms in the agriculture sector and start to think about how to best deal with the problem and provide education to the young, then those who are affected by this problem and how to solve this problem will be affected in a positive way and it will benefit the country so much.”
DiagnosisIt is important to remember this is on the basis of the information contained in the memorandum. The Ministry must also know that since Rennalls refused to talk about his personal information, the information and I agree that the documents are public documents that can only be shared by the ministry.
DiagnosisIf you do not understand the current situation, then it may actually happen that your parents are not the ones who made you leave your farmhouse.
DiagnointmentTo me, a case like this is all we have to know. I have no problems accepting a job while I am trying to work. It was also an opportunity for my father and that of everyone working at the dairy farm here.
