Presentation Work sheetLast night around 10, a girl was discovered lying in the planter at Tsuen Wan Yi Pei Square. The 6-year-old girl, surnamed Lam, has died after falling from a building. The death of the girl remained a mystery. PTU and investigators went back the scene to look for evidences. According to her uncle, she lived with her family, including her parents and 4 siblings. Her father works as a driver, while her mother is a housewife. He also mentioned that Lam was self-disciplined. She usually went to the park alone to play after dinner, and would return within half an hour. Since she did not return home at the usual time last night, her parents went down to look for her. They heard a loud sound and saw the policemen and found that their daughter has fallen from the building. Headline:_____________________________________________________________________________________________New witnesses of the death of the six-year-old girl who fell from the rooftop were found. A nearby resident claimed to have seen the girl was taken by a man in black clothes to somewhere unknown, and the girl was found fallen from the rooftop. In addition, the accident scene is not the building of the girl’s apartment but a nearby building. Police continues the investigation with suspicions and doubts.A security guard who works at the building says that children frequently go to play on the rooftop. One of the things they often did was throw rocks onto the street.Mr Yeung, vice principal of the primary school the girl started attending in September this year, said that she was quiet and disciplined with normal academic performance, teachers and other students were sad after knowing the news.Headline:_____________________________________________________________________________________________The Crime Investigation Unit has taken over the case. Investigators said that the door to the roof on the 10th floor was open; there were three piles of bricks next to the surrounding wall of the roof, a shoe mark can be found on the bricks. There is a hotpot restaurant located near the place the girl fell. The waiter of that restaurant said, upon checking CCTV footage, he noticed that, not long before the incident, the dead girl walked past the restaurant and was holding hands with another girl. The Crime Investigation Unit has found that girl and has taken her back to the police station for further investigation. After preliminary investigation, investigators believe that the dead girl was on the roof on the night of her death. They suspect that she stepped upon one of the pile of bricks to throw rocks over the roof, and slipped and fell to her death.
