Sport is the only thing in life that can not only bring physical strength and perfect the body, but also can organize the thoughts and clear the mind. Nowadays, more and more people involve sport in their everyday life. Of course, every single thing has its positive and negative sides; so does exercising. However, most of people usually think of sport as of something good and useful. Unfortunately, not all humans realize how important it is for them and their children to start caring about their physical health. Of course, it is never too late to start; but who knows if people, who start late will get to the point they want. Therefore, it is much better to accommodate to some kind of sport while still young; and the best time to do this is while you are studying in the university. All students should do some kind of sport in the university.
In high school physical education was always a class to miss. Nobody really cared about doing well, or getting the best grade there. However, everyone could see the difference between students that involve sports in their life, and the ones that ignore it. Sportsmen were usually more positive, social, optimistic, helpful, easy to talk to, outgoing and more confident in themselves, while people not involved in sports appeared to be more pessimistic, unsatisfied. Students that dont do any sport quickly run out of energy and often feel tired. The one could argue that sportsmen have a reputation of dumb and not highly intellectual people. They may also say that people doing sports do not know anything accept the sport itself. This is a widely known stereotype. People that believe in this kind of thing base their arguments on different bases. For example, they believe that it does not take a lot of brainpower to run or to jump. However, all the people would do some kind of sport there would no be such arguments. To understand what the sport really is, it is very important to try it. Running on a field with a boll may look easy and not complicated from the outside. However, it takes just one try to understand how important is to think while playing sports. Besides, American psychologists proved that there is a whole row of sports that boost the humans brainpower sometimes even more than some exercises. These kinds of sport include swimming, big tennis and bike riding. Therefore, it is clear that the picture of a dumb sportsman is nothing but a stereotype that made not highly intellectual people.
For decades experts have warned people about the circumstances of the passive life. After the long years of studies, scientists proved that people that do some kind of sport live for about 5 to 15 years longer than those who do not pay attention to the exercises. Besides, non-sports people appear to have cancer and heart attack three times more often. Anyway, the statistics shows that less than half of the earths population ever participated in sports after finishing school (where physical education is required). That could be explained as a lack of time to do sports. Really, sport does take a lot of time. Sometimes, it is really hard to have time for everything. Most of people want to make a great career. Achieving their goal, they may spend all the time studying, working, preparing to do the performance. It is really hard for them to loose even half an hour. Their thesis in life is usually “time is money”, and they do not see any reasons to change their point of view. However, each person is free to choose his/her own way in life. According to the statistic, each third successful businessperson finds from three to five hours a week to work out or to do some sport – related activity. Besides, many of these successful people say that sport helps them to organize, be more confident and maintain an active way of life. Therefore, it doesnt matter, whether the schedule is tight or not, the main thing is good organization of time and desire to keep body in good condition.
Besides, sport is a great way for losing
weight, becoming fit and improving the self. Exercising burns a lot of energy and helps our body to get rid of unnecessary calories, fill with oxygen and raise the blood circulation,
