Why going to college matters,
We need to educate students. We need to create meaningful impact on our lives.

The story is simple, no two minds agree on what to do and how to do it. The solution in many respects is education and the people who work under it, are people who have the power to change lives for the good of society and the greater good of the community.

I do not subscribe to a social justice-oriented agenda, but I do support a set of values that will help the country become more, more and more progressive. It has been said about us that we are good and that they are the good people. In fact, the United States has been at the forefront of the development of that vision. Let’s start with the people. You won’t get to say goodbye to your family and your friends and your classmates and all the people you love like this. You’ll never get to say goodbye to all the people who made your life better while you were just getting you degree.”[4]
That isn’t to say that it’s not possible to go to college to be rich and well-connected, but it certainly isn’t a requirement. I actually like people who are in the world because of their accomplishments and experiences with the world. If you want to be rich and to continue growing up, you’ve got to learn a lot. That’s why I want you to go to college in order to be able to do so.
