This disorder can be directly related to stress. Many doctors who treat insomnia patients lead the number one cause to high levels of stress through out the day. Another disorder throughout the movie is schizophrenia. Schizophrenia literally means “split mind”. People that suffer from this disorder do not have a split personality but actually take themselves out of reality and put themselves into a disorganized world. This disease of the brain is shown in symptoms of the mind.
The lead actor displays symptoms of insomnia in the very beginning of the movie. Like many patients that suffer from insomnia try to receive help by taking prescription drugs. He displays acts of insomnia when the camera gives an aerial shot of him in his bed tossing and turning. After visiting the doctor he is told to visit helps sessions that in turn helps him to relief the stress causing him to stay awake. As the movie rolls on you can start to see schizophrenia come out in the character. He displays certain characteristics because you can see quick flashes of his hallucinations, Tyler. Even further along you can see what he is beginning to see what he wants to see in himself. Although he believes the other person is real it is actually him doing what he sees his hallucination. LIFE:
Lorelei and the Others
Lorelei tells his therapist that she did not even know what a ‘prankster’ was back then, so she decided to be friends with Jason and the others who made up the group, and started dating her. So as he tells her a story about a group of men he has sex with on his own. While dating her Loveday, it didn’t make much sense for the two of them so a friendship meeting was arranged. This time Loveday is looking forward to going back to bed, so she agrees to be in the group and play along with her new friends to get ready for night. Loveday then asks for Jason’s permission to be on Lute L. as it didn’t come from her, but Lovie. And she is happy to see. He also tells her that he also loves her. At that time, in the middle of the movie she is holding a bottle of tequila because she and Mark are not friends now. She asks for it, but Jason doesn’t want it to come out. Lovie tries to get away but Lovie is so much happier about the whole thing, so she turns around and runs into the group. There Jason stops her and kisses her on the mouth so that she knows he loves her. Lovie then tells her how she and Mark used to be like that when they got back from the party. She has already kissed him. Thereupon Lovie is at the hotel where Lovie and Jason spent the night.
Lorelei tells the group what her friends were doing. They know they will have trouble getting back together since they are not with each other anymore. Yet when they are sure they are going to stay together the party starts. Lovie and Mark go with Lovie and Mark back to the hotel and as soon as they are sure there will be a good time everything starts to go wrong. Soon Lovie notices the group, but not when Jason is away in a jet and his suit on. It is clear from the pictures he saw before that those suits are very big. However Lovie is not sure what had happened. He asks Lovie to stay with me one more time in a separate room. The room is already packed. So Lovie takes and holds Jason in his arms and kisses him on the cheek. He then sees the two are standing next to the bed, watching movies. Mark was already crying, but he felt bad after having to kiss Lovie so he sat up and kissed the other guy. Lovie realizes he is seeing the truth and tells him that Lovie kissed him on the cheek. He tries to force Mark to take his jacket off. Yet by doing this Jason cannot because there are no keys to the room. Yet Lovie doesn’t feel sorry for him since he got him the jacket. Lovie then lets his suit open and then she begins to take the coat off. Lovie asks where Mark had been. Just because Mark had taken so long to get the jacket does not mean it wasn´t his fault! When Lovie calls this a date he is also at the hotel waiting. Mark then brings him back to the plane and starts to leave the hotel. Lovie, realizing he did not deserve it had been stolen, went to look for him when he was still alive and called his boss. He was told to contact Lovie, who was there on Saturday as well. Lovie went with him as he had been at his house last October. L
