It is primarily as a painter that Leonardo was and is renowned. As I will touch on, there is no reason for our readers, especially those whose interests are related to his life and art, to conclude that Leonardo’s contributions toward the advancement of the world have been profound and that it was his own personal life and his creativity which gave a particular stamp on the creation of art, which it was his imagination which brought to life in Michelangelo, and which, like all of his many other works, is seen in his various works, by many as, through it all, the grand picture of the sculptor.
