My experiences over this trimester have been fun and taught me a lot about kids. Some things I have learned from my little buddy, is that I need to be patient sometimes. Like instead of getting frustrated and raising my voice when she doesnt do something right away, I can look her in the eyes and say softly but seriously what Id like her to do. Something that Ive learned from myself in this class is that I get frustrated really easily. Sometimes I get really frustrated when she doesnt stay sitting, or when she goes up to the front for attention. Ive learned a little bit to calm myself down and remind myself that sometimes she doesnt know any better.
One of my biggest strengths Ive found in this class is I can cheer her up if she is sad about something. Like when she was upset that she didnt get a prize, as we were walking down the hall she likes to run into the doors. I feel like I contributed to the class by not only concentrating on my buddy, but also helping out with other peoples little buddies. One thing I feel I could have done better is work more efficiently on my theme week and not think things would just take care of them selves. If I was to take this class again I think I would defiantly be more active in the after school things and try a little harder to be happy and excited everyday. Even the days that Im tired or having a bad morning.
The biggest shock of
