Dear Mr. Decision Maker:
As a long-time admirer of the outstanding work that your organization has done in the community, I particularly enjoyed having the opportunity to see how you function from the inside. As you indicated during our meeting, your organization has grown to a point where it needs to dramatically enhance its ability to communicate between genders so that it can continue to serve effectively.
This correspondence outlines the complete scope of work you requested, including objectives, procedures, identification of responsibilities, and estimated fees.
OBJECTIVE
We would like to set up workshops with approximately ten to twelve employees per workshop. We prefer that the workshop has 50% male and 50% female in it, to be completely effective. We know that this is not always possible, but it is helpful. Our objective is to create a work culture that fosters a partnership between men and women, illustrate ways to minimize conflict and misunderstandings between men and women and maximize the benefits of working together. We recommend that we start the workshop with management personnel first. We do this so if there are questions or situations that need to be addressed, then your management teams will have the tools to do so. Success of this project is dependent on your personnels communication skills, effort, and willingness to work as a team to implement new ideas.
