Completing the LPI will be beneficial to my success in leadership as a manager. It provided results that showed my strengths and weaknesses in specific areas of leadership. I can use the outcomes to adjust my leadership styles accordingly.
I scored the highest in “enabling others to act”. This means that I respect others decisions as well as treat others with respect. This also made me realize that I let others lead maybe a little too frequently. I think that I need to step up to the plate and use my knowledge and experience more often by getting over my shyness and taking more initiative in projects and group experiments. I think that by improving my vocabulary and practicing public speaking; by taking advanced English courses and a speech class, would be the greatest leadership improvement that I could possibly make.
My lowest overall scores were in “inspiring a shared vision”. I agree with the low scores because I am a very busy person and I am not well rested when I meet with my team in class at such an early hour. The lack of sleep causes me to not be very optimistic at times, which is probably the main reason that they scored me low in this area. To prevent this from being a problem in a future job, I will have to make more time for rest and keep self evaluating my attitude to ensure that it is positive in nature.

This could be simply because some people perceive things differently. It also could be that the correspondent doesnt quite know me as well as the other two does and she may take some of my comments out of context.
I also view myself differently than others do. Looking at the graph of my scores prove this. My scores jump all over the place from very high to very low,
