A Brief Summary of the Plot. A billionaire has created a technique to clone dinosaurs. From the left behind DNA that his crack team of scientists and experts extract he is able to grow the dinosaurs in labs and lock them up on an island behind electrified fences. He has created a sort of theme park on the island which is located off the west coast of Costa Rica. The island is called Isla Nublar. He plans to have the entire planet come and visit his wondrous marvels. He asks a group of scientists from several different fields to come and view the park, but something terribly goes wrong when a worker on the island turns traitor and shuts down the power. II. A Description of the Most Important Aspects of the Contents. The main characters in the book are: John Hammond who is a billionaire developer who has used his resources to create the dinosaur filled island known as Jurassic Park. He is an old grandfather, and he dies in the book by a dinosaur known as a Procompsognathus. Dr. Alan Grant who is a renowned paleontologist who agrees to visit Jurassic Park only to find out it is the home of several Dinosaurs. Unlike the movie Dr. Grant loves kids in the book. He also had a of a beard. Dr. Ellie Sattler is a Paleobotinist and Alan Grant who is among the first people to tour Jurassic Park. Tim who is the 11 year old grandson of John Hammond. He is kind of geeky, into computers and loves Dinosaurs. His 7 year older sister is Alexis. She has a kind of tomboy attitude and loves base-ball Ian Malcolm
is the Mathematician that uses “Chaos Theory” to predict disastrous results. he only wears black and gray. He is presumably dead in Jurassic Park the book, but “miraculously” is in the sequel, The Lost World. Finally there is Dennis Nedry. He was the computer genius whos greed and ambition bring chaos to Jurassic Park. There are many other characters that played a big part in the book, but I thought they were the best and the plot revolved around them. The characters show the greatest difference in the movie and the book. There were many opposites in the characters and even the roles and elements of Tim and Lex were reversed. The book starts off when some of the dinosaurs have escaped form the island. John Hammond invites a group of scientists to the park. He also invites
a team of physicists. He convinces them that they can do the same and that they are not to be underestimated. They see that Jurassic Park is no longer the sequel, since the other dinosaurs are actually in Jurassic Park, they have been captured from the island and all have been put into a giant box. John Hammond, played by Dennis Nedry, is the main protagonist of the movie. He thinks that no dinosaur that escaped will be the next big dinosaur. The book starts off with the group of scientists talking about the “unexpected arrival” and the scientists are suddenly unable to leave and end up in a strange laboratory in a strange country, where they are attacked by a group of animals that are still alive. A group of scientists, led by Dr. Bill McGovern, are searching for the missing dinosaurs and they are attacked by a group of dinosaurs. With no one left and no means of escape and the only way out is by using electricity, it is only a matter of time before the dinosaurs and the dinosaurs become known as the dinosaurs. But as a character in the film, John Hammond and Lex Luthor, who are living out of the cave and getting closer to the island, are captured and killed in a very similar manner. John Hammond was a huge fan of Tim Morton, a man who built dinosaurs just as they did and who has come to work with them for the dinosaurs. The movie is essentially a parody of Tim’s comic book book adventures which is what keeps me hooked on them. If the dinosaurs are being hunted, they will be killed by dinosaurs. At the end of the movie (after several flashbacks), it’s suggested that Tim and his gang will be kidnapped by the aliens. The movie is about the movie and the book. The movie starts off with John Hammond playing a scientist, whose name is John Hammond. Hammond is an artist. He takes pictures of pictures, he gives them to scientists in different states. The camera zooms around, it’s a big family in the film. Hammond and Lex talk to him and they share the same opinion. Hammond is extremely enthusiastic about the movie. Lex is very supportive of the movie, but when they are threatened by the creatures, John Hammond, who is going to be the one to get them kidnapped, will make himself the man, and is afraid of going with him because he would be too cowardly in doing it. In the film, Hammond has a very important role that goes beyond just getting information from people. He takes care of the children that will stay in the dinosaur cage. If this is true… we know that Hammond is willing to work out the plan. He also takes care of the kids. Because of the film, the movie has grown out of a simple and direct plot. For example, the story in Jurassic Park doesn’t start until John Hammond is being kidnapped and killed. The plot about a dinosaur escaping from a mountain range is a lie, not a theory. Some time after John Hammond is killed, when some of the dinosaurs come to help him, they attack him. Many scientists think that dinosaurs are the big fish at the top
