ManagementEssay Preview: ManagementReport this essayChapter 2Multiple pathways of learning really opened my eyes to the way I use to learn things. I use to focus on memorizing the subject and giving the right answers. It never donned on me that my learning habits to say the least are a bit out dated. I have to be completely honest in my analysis of the way I learned in the past. When I went to my community college. I had to change my learning habits. It stands to reason that the more knowledge that you obtain. You have to up your game and improve your skills. Otherwise your mind will be unable to absorb additional knowledge and you will remain in the same rut. Once you adopt a new learning style it will be obvious in the way you write articles etc. Using the strengths of each of the multiple pathway learning assessment (Verbal/Linguistic, Music/Rhythmic, Logical/Mathematical, Visual/Spatial, Bodily/Kinesthetic, Intrapersonal, Interpersonal and Naturalistic) will help me in excel in my classes here at University of Phoenix
Personality Spectrum showed my assets as well as my weakness. Using the personality spectrum and looking at the different characteristics of the following (Thinker, Organizer, Giver, and the Adventurer). It should help me learn how address each personality type with a different prospective. I did discover that I am a ” Thinker,”. Beginning with the analytical side of my personality and encompassing all of the traits listed on this chart. The main issue that I seem to always have a problem with repetitive tasks. A new project always makes me rise to the occasion. But, when the challenge becomes boring and repetitious my mind has an tendency to wonder on the next project. I want to complete the project quickly and not reflect back on the steps that took place to complete this project. Im working on this area. Once I complete this class I should see an improvement in this area.
1) I had the ability to read a lot and be able to learn alot of new ideas and skills through the interaction.
2) I understood what the goal was of any conversation and what it was like to be able to discuss in the field with a student.
3) I found that my knowledge of reading would only enhance their understanding through the interactions with the other students.
4) I got the ability to follow the conversation well in-person so that I don’t feel that I had to talk like I did an hour later during my work with an IAS or a teacher.
5) I had the ability to be able to talk, write, and learn at will so that I wasn’t constantly trying to guess my way through the class.
6) I was able to study for about 4 hours a day and study and learn to master a major in any of the four core areas of reading, writing, math, and problem solving.
7) I was able to study for the entirety of a semester in almost any area of reading and math and all the related skills.
8) I was able to use my creativity and the writing with my student whenever the time and effort required wasn’t something I needed to get through on any given day.
