Laughter Is the Best Medicine
Good morning … fellow friends. Today I am going to share with you lot about something that truly benefits us in our lives every day without us even realizing it. Whether you are stressed, sick, out of shape, depressed, anxious, struggling with high blood pressure, pain and asthma, low stamina, looking old, lack of interpersonal relationships and self confidence, I still have a cure for all of these problems. Its not drugs, illegal or prescribed and its not something you would expect. Its laughter, which brings us back to our main topic for today, “laughter is the best medicine.”
If you laughed, you are helping cure all of those problems. You have heard that laughter is the best medicine, and turns out it is true.
The first thing that laughter does for you is strengthen your immune system. It has been proven that laughter increases a certain antibody in the mucous of the nose that is believed to protect against certain viruses. There are Laughter Clubs and in these clubs, the members have often reported a general decrease in the frequency of getting a cold or sore throat. Laughter is not only able to help your immune system, but it is also the best aerobic exercise. You inhale more oxygen while laughing than any other exercise, and best of all you dont have to get sweaty. Besides that, laughing exercises are perfect to anyone confined to bed or wheel chairs that dont get the normal aerobic exercise from just walking like most people do. In relation to exercise, the increased amount of oxygen in your lungs helps alleviate bronchitis and asthma.
Laughter can also be a cure for your mental health, like depression, stress, anxiety or a lack of desire to do anything. Many people try meditation to cure such problems and it works.
