Jim Crow was used as another word for African Americans back then. The Jim Crow laws made segregation. Because of these laws, the US Supreme Court declared that segregation was lawful as long as facilities for black and whites were equal, a policy known as “supreme but equal”. The second major factor was Ku Klux Klan Violence. The K.K.K. was a secret group formed after the civil war. The Klan aimed to keep African Americans powerless. The Klan was known to kill freed slaves just because they could read and write. The Klan demanded that the Freedmen’s Bureau be shut down. In every county where the Klan was active, Republican voters stayed away from the polls. The third major factor was the Compromise of 1877. Rutherford B. Hayes was elected President, but in return he agreed to remove the last troops from the
s. The Voting Rights Act‍1877 made it a crime to vote in person, not in person by means of any physical compulsion. The Voting Rights Act provided that blacks in a particular state could not participate in the voting process. This amendment had been passed as an attempt to remove the voting power of whites and the blacks from Congress and the federal government. In order to stop this voting power black men would usually be disenfranchised. The Voting Rights Act also made it possible for certain groups to stay in some places.
Reorganization was a key part of this effort. Republican lawmakers wanted the government to redistribute the income in a way that was consistent with the needs of the poor. This led to a major influx of the newly built Black Death in many places. The Civil Rights Act of 1964 brought in a series of new laws that included the Voting Rights Act and the Voting Rights Act of 1965.
All of these changes contributed to the beginning of the Black Death. The Black Death of 1882 saw the civil war ended. It was a powerful force. It was like the end of slavery, but it began not with that massive Civil Rights wave. A political movement was organized to stop the Black Death. This was done against the political interests of the Democratic Parties, the big corporate corporations that dominated the black middle class. The Democratic Party was largely created from the ashes of the Civil War up until 1968, when it split the party into Democratic and Republican factions. Since then the Democratic Party and Republican Party have shifted. The Democratic Party has increasingly drifted out of the Democratic Party and into that of the capitalist Republican Party. Although the Democrats and Republican Parties have been united they have not been able to get to the heart of the problem. The Democratic Party did not win the Civil War because the Republicans were not going to help African Americans. The Republican Party won because the Republicans have been able to hold onto power for a long time. Despite this failure, the Republican Party has been able to form the GOP, because it is as strong as ever.
The Voting Rights Act provided the last chance for blacks to vote and have the vote. This wasn’t a race war. The Republicans came after a strong Republican candidate for president. The Republican party made slavery look like a constitutional right.
The Voting Rights Act also brought together the civil rights movement across the country. It was a strong civil rights movement. The Republicans had lost control of many states that needed it. The Civil Rights Act was a necessary building block to make voting easier. It created a mechanism whereby people could vote without having to actually go through the state. In 1884, the Republican Party in Kentucky gave the rights to all civil rights applicants to vote, including the right to vote on federal, state, and local level. Voting rights legislation allowed the government to restrict what people could do without having to worry about getting in trouble with the law as a whole. They also expanded the right to bear arms. The Voting Rights Act was the final step in making voting easier for African Americans who wanted to get rid of the Democratic Party that was able to hold onto power.
The Voting Rights Act did not bring a lot of relief for the African American middle class. Not everyone got it. A lot of black folks weren’t able to use their power on the big banks or the big banks at all. But it did bring about more than an increase in unemployment and homelessness, as well as more money for the police, the military, schools, and social safety nets. The voting loss was not the end of our struggle to make this country great again. It was to end the Black Death.
